Glycerin and lube can be a very bad combination for women — I'm talking about a yeast infection waiting to happen! So if your body is sensitive to glycerin, test your knowledge about these lubricants to see which ones are safe for you.

I'm surprised about the K-Y liquid!
1I researched some of these before for the same exact reason.
2I never noticed yeast infections with glycerin, however it would really be bothersome when it came to going to the bathroom after sex, and a day or so afterward. No problems with non-glycerin though. I'm surprised at how little I know about lube.
3i know nothing about this but i guess i should since i use it all the time
not these brands though
4wow, I did really badly (1/8). I barely have to use lube, but I'm disappointed that yours&mine has glycerine, as it's fun! I have noticed some discomfort for a couple days after using it. Now I know why.
5I didn't know the glycerin can cause yeast infections. I usually use KY jelly and I'm betting it has glycerin in it. I've never had a yeast infection in my life though, so I don't know...I guess I'll keep using it.
64/8 and that's guessing not too familiar with some of those.
78/8
8unfortunately I am super prone to yeast so I'm thankful to have taken this quiz. thanks dearsugar, this really helped out.
950% I know my glycerin, kind of.
105/8? not bad not bad, i'm surprised by KY, too. I thought they would have been more lady-parts-friendly.
115/5 -- FYI don't use silicone-based lubes on silicone toys. A silicone lube used on a silicone toy will destroy the toy. Oil-based products are NOT condom compatible (will cause breakage). IMO Sliquid makes some of the best (and most afffordable) products on the market today.
12Oh I meant 8/8. Better at the sexy than at math.
13Thank you for doing this story. Yeast infections were a big problem for me a few years ago (I'm still super sensitive) and I didn't know my lube was contributing to the problem. Luckily, there are lots of great glycerin free options on the market.
