Meet Steve Wood from VH1's groan-inducing new reality show Tough Love. He describes himself as a "master matchmaker" and says that you need him; I figure women need this guy like they need a hole in their heads. Describing single women with contempt as "desperate, delusional, and baby hungry," you'd have to be clinically insane to take this douche's advice. I'm pretty sick of this, "Hey, stupid woman, I'm going to insult you while pretending it's for your own good" trend in self-help. It's straight-up hatred, women. Don't take the bait! I bet he works in tandem with Mystery from The Pickup Artist who gives advice to players on how to play these women. Hint #1: Insult her — they like that!

Ugh. And it's being produced by Drew Barrymore's company. Girl Power!
1Wow, really Pistil? That's so lame.
2OMG. That isn't real...
3*rolls eyes* I absolutely despise these types of shows....
4Women can handle feedback , insults are borderline of possible abusive comments. It makes it difficult to listen to more than the first 10 minutes of the show. It would help if Steve Woods even remotely commented on what works in his own relationship rather than the people he has recruited.

6"The baby hungry" — really?!?!
7It just goes to prove that women don't want to hear it and don't think they need help and that's why they'll still be single after 40 or divorced with kids. Steve W. is right on the money. He knows women. That's why they call it "tough love" people!
8actually if u watch the show u will see that the women he coaches are actually suffering from some major issues that are hindering their abilit(ies) to find a healthy, stable relationship. They all have issues that need to be dealt with internally and his philopsophy is to attack those issues head on as opposed to some other "life coah's" or shrink's tactics. He doesnt do the "and how does it make u feel to hear that?" crap - he says get a grip, toughen up, and change this particular part of yourself internally so that u can be happy and find a partner. i think hes much more realistic and saavy than what you have given him credit for. if you're looking to call "douchebag" go turn on dr. drew or dr. phil and leave steve alone.
