hahaha omg well i got a training bra when I was YOUNG. Like maybe 8 or 9. But I was super mature for my age and always wanted to grow up.

I didnt wear one til i was 13 (when i got my period, because thats what you did when you got your period, you got a bra too. haha) and i didn't make a big deal out of it because I was somewhat of a tom boy and didn't really care... and my chest was quite small, i was a B cup from age 15-17..l i hit 17... and i was magically a D ....and they seem like they just keep growing (i'm almost 21 now) hahaha. so naturally, everyone spread rumors about me getting implants (i was ALWAYS teased in High school.) Thats why i feel for Britney and Lindsay, even though it is more likely that they had implants, but still... if they didn't, i feel for them.

i'm so opposite from everyone else - i fought tooth and nail with my mom about a bra - i did NOT want one but i was developing fairly early and needed one badly (i think 6th grade was when she finally made me get one)....i cried and fought and finally went and got a couple cute cartoonish ones (like with tweety bird on it) but wouldn't show my mom if they fit so she just trusted me to try them alone in the changeroom on and bought them for me anyway....funny thing is, i kept developing and now i'm well endowed and love my boobs...i lost the nervous awkwardness associated with bras somewhere in highschool and now i'm super comfortable!

Traumatizing. Still is. I started wearing a bra when I was 17 and it didn't even fit right, haha. To this day I only wear a bra to give myself some shape.

my mom went with me to get my first "training" bra, the one with the little Tennis rackets in the middle. when we got home I was so excited to put it on! and I heard my dad say "training bra? what is she training for the flat mile?"

I had to start wearing one when I was in 4th grade and got made fun of for it. So I didn't care for it.

I wanted a "Bra-ree" I don't think I could say Brassiere since I was like six, so my mom bought me those like lil kid bras whcih were basically really short tank tops haha. So around middle school I was still as bare as a board, but my mom bought me those ones with little padding and underwire, to make me feel more like a woman and like my blooming friends. I didn't get my 32 E's until I was almost 17! I swear I went from a B to over a D cup over night.... One day I was just trying to fit my bras and nothing was working, so I gave my bras to my mother and upgraded... the rest is history! I love how I passed down my bras to her!

I got my 1st "bra" at around 6*

I only had one boob for like 6 months. It was horrible. I thought the other one would never catch up - a C cup on one side, and totally flat on the other - AAARGH. So I went and got my first bra on my own. It had no underwires, and it was pretty with little green flowers, and I probably couldn't fit a nipple in it today. I was madly embarrassed at the cash register because I was young (like 12?) and I thought the cashier was all like "AH! Look at that little girl with the one boob buying her first bra! RIDICULOUS!". I wanted to die.

BUt then my other boob grew, and I've been sporting the greatest most symmetrical rack for 20 years.

Not until 6th grade.... It was from Limited Too... terrible!!

I started wearing a training bra in the 3rd grade and I was mortified!!! lol So I guess I was wearing a real bra by sometime in the 4th grade.

4th grade, and it was horrible.
No one else had to, and I got teased.

i don't really remember my first experiences with a real bra. i remember in about grade 5 or 6 i started to feel like i shouldn't just be whipping off my gym clothes in the changeroom in front of my friends, so i started wearing those kid bras that are really just short tank tops as ThePerfectScore said. even so, i was still embarrassed to wear those and tried to hide it that i was even wearing anything. i'm pretty sure i was excited to get my first underwire when i was about 14.
these days i'm barely an A-cup anyway, and rarely wear a bra at all! i do have some nice ones though, that can make me look like i have a little something under there

I remember them being itchy and scratchy on my skin and tried hardest to avoid wearing them until I was like 12 (I think my mom bought like a training one when I was 10).

I had my first training bra around 9/10 because I started developing around then... My first real bra at 12/13.

I remember feeling awkward, as I wasn't used to wearing something around my chest. More than anything, I remember my chest being very tender and sore - not from the bra, but from my growing breasts.

I went without one until I was about 15? I should have worn one sooner! I think I wore a sports bra until then. I was never very big! I was never measured properly either and only just recently was... 10 years later... turns out I have been wearing the wrong size all these years!

I think I was 18 when I got my first underwired bra. I don't have much of a bust to speak of so this wasn't a big deal.

I loved my first bras! They didn't have underwire, they were so comfy.

I came home one day and my mom had left a few bras on my bed. I remember being like oh hell no because even though I was in the 6th grade I was not sporting any boobs and I wanted nothing to do with those odd contraptions. I can remember wearing them and since I had absolutely nothing to hold 'em down everytime I raised my arms they would roll up to my armpits. I hated them. I finally grew some boobs when I was 16 or so and started to like wearing bras and now I am addicted to buying them.

In the third grade, one girl in my grade got a training bra - so every other girl had to go home and beg for one too! I wore them sporadically but never needed them. In middle school it kind of became a necessity (changing in the locker rooms for gym, you had to have a bra on), but I didn't develop past an A cup until this past year, when I went on hormonal BC! I seriously bought my first underwire bra the summer between freshman and sophomore year of college .. and I'm still only a B.

But hey .. the boyfriend loves them anyway, and more then a handful goes to waste! =]

Hmmm I barely remember it. I think I was about 9 and my mom must've bought some training bras in Asia when we were there the year before in preparation for my boobs "blooming." They were just simple cotton ones that looked more like sports bras (as in, no separate cups for each boob.) I remember I was sooo embarrassed, especially when sitting in the car with the family because the seatbelt would cut between the boobs and make them more pronounced. I was cringing because I didn't want anyone to notice!

I begged and begged for a training bra, which I totally did not need. But after I wheedled, my mom finally gave in. I still think a training bra is more or less all I need. :/

I started wearing a training bra in 5th grade I guess. And I, like hiding55, also had the training bra ride up when I lifted my arms. It was so annoying. I got underwired bras at the end of 5th grade though, I hated those at first. So uncomfortable and annoying. Then I got used to them and now my favorite things are bras and lingerie in general.

I think I started wearing training bras when I was 10/11. Probably real bras at 13/14? I don't remember haha.

I started wearing a bra in fifth grade but would forget and realize in the middle of class (when it got cold). One day my step mom yelled at me for not wearing my bra and I yelled at her, "Why do I have to wear it anyways!?" She just walked out of the bedroom silent and in shock.

I wore sports bras because my mom always said "why do you need a training bra...just WHAT are you trining them to do?!"

I really don't remember. I want to say I was 14 or 15. And it was pointless because I was so flat. I was flat until I was 17 and then popped into a C cup overnight. I've hated wearing bras ever since.

I always loved them. I had those cute matching pants and halter type tops when I was about 6 onward, but I didn't start wearing a proper bra til I was about 10 or 11, and then I wore one every day.

I was fairly well developed so I needed them.

Today I'm a 8FF, so bras are a lot less fun and exciting to go shopping for, haha!

I had to wear one in 4th or 5th grade and I HATED it, but my mom forced it. I'm still not a big fan of them but being a 44D, I can't get away with not wearing one.

I had to start wearing one in third grade. I remember picking one out with my mom. She was a lot more enthusiastic than I was, that's for sure. When I told my friends that I had one, they all wanted to see it, so I'd show it to them in the bathroom at school and they all told me how lucky I was, lol. I never really gave the whole thing too much thought either way...I just figured it was another new piece of underwear I had to wear.

I went to my mother calmly and rationally and asked her if she would buy me a bra because I felt out of place with all the other girls in my fourth grade class. She said absolutely and we got this god-awful sports bra that I wore under spaghetti strapped tank tops so you could see the entire bra, practically. I looked ridiculous, but I felt mature and proud, so I guess that's what mattered. I hardly ever wear those suckers anymore unless I have to-:(

I started off with crop tops, and had a bit of a nightmare time with those. Comfy and all but they showed something terrible under my school uniform. My first real bra wasn't so bad, but we had to buy another one every few months because I was a fast grower!
