Glad I'm not the only one who thought Pelosi was just a little too bouncy and happy at the speech.
1She was just happy she didn't have to sit behind President Bush. I gues that's because it's much easier to take being handed a pile of cr@p from a democrat.
2Pelosi irritates me so much. I loved how Biden looked annoyed at her ("well I guess now I have to stand up too....)
3The 33% tax bracket includes people who make under $250k a year... guess Obama isn't sticking to his promise NOT to raise those folks' taxes (referring to RedState post).
4From the HuffPo article:
"The government is assuming that the economy contracts by 3.3% this year and remains mostly flat in 2010..."
I could be misrembering something, but doesn't Obama's budget rely on there being a 3.2% growth rate in the economy? At the very least, I KNOW the new budget didn't calculate a contraction.
Someone, anyone - please tell me I'm wrong. 'Cause if not, our government really is dysfunctional.
5geithner the tax cheat, is offended by the quality of judgment by others
6Elections have consequences
7Do you not want to mention Palin's recent tax doozies?
8Voters make choices.
9"voters make choices" For the first hundred years politicians bought votes with free whiskey and tobacco. The only thing now is that the “freebies” are promised, and it is the children of the recipients who pay for them not the politician running for office.
