When you go on a date that involves food, dinner is usually what first comes to mind, but breakfast and lunch dates can be just as fun and romantic. While they all have their ups and downs, I'd choose a dinner date any day of the week — there's just something sexy about sharing a dessert across the table and going out when the lights are dim. That's just my opinion, though, so tell me, which meal do you find the most romantic?

Dinner is most romantic, but I wouldn't pass up breakfast in bed!
1i like dinner but i also think lunch is cute
2the restaurant is often quiet and it's a more unexpected way to spend time with someone who you always have dinner with anyway
I think dinner is most romantic meal-wise...our V-Day dinner was soooo romantic
3I can't properly answer. I love Dinner, but I hate the nighttime i like to be in bed by 10... but dinner is the most romantic. oh well, i'll have to wait til the next poll to vote.
4Definitely dinner because you can have it by candlelight.....
5Dinner is more romantic, but I love breakfast dates for some reason! Maybe it's the Jersey girl in me, but meeting someone at a diner on a Saturday morning is just so relaxed and fun.
6Luna, I am a born and raised Jersey girl and NOTHING beats the diner at 2 in the morning for me.
I love lunches, personally...because I feel like I get to do something exciting. I love spending time in the middle of the day with my boyfriend. I also love immensely going out to diners late at night or early in the morning. It's so relaxing, and so much fun.
Unfortunately, we moved down South, and apparently they don't have 24/7 diners? Lame. So, that's out...so lunch it is.
7I love having breakfast together. What a treat!
8Breakfast or brunch for me. Especially if we're playing hookie from work to go out!
9Im a born and raised NJ girl and i hate going to diners and i just NJ... hahaha i moved away as quickly and far as possible. I do like breakfast though... i dont find it romantic...
10*just hate NJ.
sugar needs to have an edit feature on comments.
11NJ is definitely a love or hate state! I'm lucky though, I live in a gorgeous beach town, not exactly a "just off the turnpike" place!
12They all are if I'm with my boyfriend.
13Dinner is the most romantic, but I'm partial to breakfast! Ah, NJ diners... I miss them so much! Six Brother's is the best :]
14Def Dinner. Its when we can come out at night and take over the world!!! lol.
15I voted for dinner but I really think sharing dessert is the most romantic.
16I voted for dinner but I really think sharing dessert is the most romantic.
17Dinner. I don't like typical breakfast foods and I can never eat a big breakfast as it is! Lunch isn't romantic at all, in my opinion. But a candlelit dinner is always nice, and then you can spend the evening/night together.
18How about dessert!
19Breakfast is my favorite meal, but dinner is the most romantic.
20Dinner, most definitely. There's something really nice about cuddling together on the couch with some Chinese food or making a really nice steak to enjoy by candlelight.
21A dinner date is by FAR the most romantic! I love going to breakfast with my husband, but I wouldn't call it "romantic".
22I think it doesn't matter whatever you make the best of.
23Ooh, and sitting on our deck on a warm summer night, with a few cocktails, some nice seafood, and a couple of candles is probably my most favorite romantic mealtime with my husband.
24The most romantic meal I have ever had was the morning after I made love for the first time. While I was taking a bubble bath my guy was cooking me chocolate chip pancakes! It was just one of those amazingly sweet moments that is a once in a life time thing. Plus I love breakfast food! And I hate eating an awesome meal late night and then getting physical with a guy b/c Im so luggish and full and probably have gas! haha Godforbidd that gas ever came out! Luckily that hasn't happened, but morning is just a better time for us all. Star your day off right!
25I have not been in a date with a guy that I actually have great chemistry with and click with since I went out with my ex. I have gone out with one guy friend in the past 3 weeks out to eat but I would not consider that a date more like a disturbance.
26Either breakfast or dinner.
Lunch is a great meal but it's just not as romantic as the other two, unless it's a long, lazy picnic lunch, or a nice garden restaurant or something like that...
I guess it really depends on where and when - usually lunch during the week is rushed and not romantic at all!
27Where is the option for ALL of them?
28We went out for a lovely candlelit meal the other night, very posh, and that was very romantic. It's pretty romantic when he sneaks out of bed and brings me scrambled egg on toast at the weekend though.
Dinner is more romantic ... which is why I opt for lunch or coffee on initial dates.
