I don't know about you, but all I want to do to unwind when I get home from work these days is watch some mindless TV or read a trashy magazine. Not only can I get a good laugh out of it, but it's much less stressful than worrying about the economic crisis. If you've been feeling anxiety in the air lately, too, tell me, are you also yearning for some senseless entertainment to get your mind off things?

1I play video games. Helps me get my mind off everything. The more mindless the better.

4Yes please. Although I like to mix it up with a good novel here and there.
5I will generally come home, jump on my computer, pop a movie in, or read a book. It is pretty much whatever comes to mind.

8In between looking for a job (for the past 10 months), I either play video games, or watch some shows...currently watching over all the seasons of 24, fun fun, Stargate will be next on the list. Other than that. ^ You tube is great too. Shall be watching Chad Vader season 1 and 2 soon.

10For me its Barefoot Contessa episodes. Its pretty mindless, but at least I end up making some of her recipes.

12yes i do. sometimes i just want to NOT think about anything, so watching something trashy or gossipy, or a funny movie with no particular meaning, really helps to ease my mind a bit
13It depends. Lately work has been really hard, so I just veg out and watch a lot of CSI. When my days are manageable I generally come home and sew or read or something like that.
