I had a conversation similar to this with one of my close male friends who stated how awkward it is for him when he strips down and how ,obviously, the socks are the last to go. total mood killer when you're totally naked but still have your socks on.

the key to not-being-naked-with-socks is to either take them off first, or just take them off with your jeans.

as far as dressing in front of an SO, there are certain undies that I will only wear on days I know I won't be seeing him (we don't live together). And I always try to put my bottoms on first since I like the top half of my body better.

I think it just kind of depends on what kind of tights and what your body is like. I don't really like putting that kind of stuff on in front of my hubs but I'm not very comfortable with my body.

Oh my god, that's hilarious. Never really heard anyone acknowledge the tights thing publicly before, but they are so awkward. Every time y boyfriend sees me getting dressed in tights, he says "nice outfit" and laughs, and I can't blame him.

Spanx is the only thing I can think of. I can put on hose and tights pretty gracefully, but Spanx is impossible to put on with any form of grace.

Putting on my bra. I'm pretty busty so it's kind of a process. I needs to lift, separate, and make sure I'm all in. It's pretty embarrassing. I always turn my back and do it really quick. And NOBODY needs to see what a female looks like in Spanx, they look great UNDER clothes and THATS IT!
Also, when I'm wearing skinny jeans tucked into my boots I put my socks over the jeans. When I take my boots off I have a pair of mismatched socks with my jeans tucked into them. Its pretty dorky looking. I try to make a joke out of it... I think it's kind of charming.

I've been with my husband for years and he's seen me in everything so it's not really an issue. I sometimes hate getting undressed in front of him because he won't leave me alone, but that's a different argument all together.

haha, yes I do feel pretty silly putting on tights in front of my husband. And sports bras - I like they way they look once they're ON, but getting them on is kinda like putting on tights...there's a lot of squirming & pulling involved.

Nothing is off limits. I feel sexy putting and taking off all the intimates including the tights. Being a gymnast helps with the balance.

I've been with my husband for 6 years. It's not a secret anymore. I don't mind anything. That being said, I wouldn't purposely have him see me getting into any girdle style contraption, not sexy, but if he sees it's not like I'd be mortified.

Just the everyday panties or what I call my "period panties" for when I've got my monthlies. I will never let my partner see them, as I don't feel sexy in every day briefs. I feel sexy in boyleg briefs but my partner doesn't want to see those!
