Don't |
- Do keep an open mind.
- Do be yourself — remember, he liked you for a reason the first time you met!
- Do dress to impress.
- Do listen intently, and make sure to ask questions that will help you get to know him better.
- Do order foods that agree with you.
- Do end the night with a kiss — if you like him, of course!
|
- Don't let your nerves get the best of you.
- Don't overdress, show too much cleavage, or wear something too tight or too short.
- Don't spend too much time (if any at all) talking about your past relationships.
- Don't use or check your cell phone — just be in the moment.
- Don't forget your manners.
- Don't drink too much!

Common sense, I would say..
1I'm pretty sure I read this exact set of tips in my sister's Seventeen when she was 17. 1992 was a good year, people.
2I agree, common sense.
3A good article. Nothing to add.
4common knowledge. still very good tips.
5'Dont put yourself in an uncomfortable position'
Eg in london you can go to a bar.. when you get there the street can be full of life taxis everywhere.. by the time you leave it can be dangerous, creepy and hard to get home. Same with if you dating and go to his for dinner.. BE CAREFUL!
Meet on your terms in an area you are familiar with and plan the exits home.
