I didn't realize that America's stimulus was supposed to stimulate the rest of the world's economies as well.
1You didn't see a connection?
2Well of course Dave. You know the US... we have to fix everything in the world before we fix ourselves.
3starangel92, I don't see it that way. The US economy directly effects a lot of other countries economies, just as theirs effects ours. Take the Japanese auto industry into mind. The US is a major buyer of Japanese automobiles, if it comes to a point to where Americans can no longer buy Japanese cars at the rate that they have in the past (which is what it starting to happen now), well then that will have a direct effect on the Japanese economy and eventually the people of Japan.
4We don't have to, other large, powerful countries are always glad to step in.
5Oh, I know tiabia. I was just being sarcastic. Although sometimes it does seem like we have to always step in.
Everyone's economies effect the other. Look at Wall Street... it goes up and down sometimes based what is in the European and Asian markets. It's all related somehow, you know?
6OH ok starangel82. That's one of the things I hate about the internet. You are unable to decipher sarcasm
7So - does anyone think the stimulus plan will work? Seems like people think it's either too big or too small. Where's Goldilocks when you need her?
Glad to see that Pakistan is taking some action about the Mumbai massacre.
8I don't see it helping. It won't put the money into the hands of the people who need it the most.
