Valentine's Day is on a Saturday this year, which means all you single people out there can pretend this international day of love is just like any other Saturday night! Bars seem to always have V-Day specials, especially when it falls on a weekend. But tell me, do you think Valentine's Day is a good time to meet other single people looking for love just like you, or is it a recipe for disaster?

I think this is more of a night that desperate women look for love and a night that guys look for an easy lay.
1I don't think Valentine's Day is a good night to hit the town. I am staying in with my sister and one of our best friends. We are cooking a delicious meal with wine pairings and will probably watch a movie afterwards.
2I agree with Hiding55 on this. People are desperate on V-Day and probably just want someone to cozy up with for the night & nothing more.
3if you're out at a bar, i dont think it's any worse or better than any other days
4a bar is a bar is a bar and if a guy has his light on looking for love then he has it on on vday the same as any other day. a guy just looking for ass is a predator any other day too. i think vday is a fun time and everyone should embrace it, whether that be time spent with close girlfriends or going out partying or hanging out with your man.
I met my bf on Valentines Day.... It worked out well.
