Ever since Justice Sandra Day O'Connor retired from the Supreme Court in 2006, Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been holding it down for the ladies all by herself. And she wants to keep doing that, despite her recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Ginsburg, 75, plans on being in court for oral arguments on Feb. 23.
When Justice Ginsburg successfully battled colon cancer in 1999, she said work was "the best balm." It must have been, because she didn't miss a day.
Now, the justice, appointed by President Clinton, will seek the same treatment following her surgery last week. We wish her a speedy recovery.
- Ginsburg swears in Al Gore for his second term.
- During her confirmation hearing, Ginsburg holds up a book written by her grandson: My Grandma is Very Special.
- Newly nominated Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg holds a press conference with Clinton.
- Ginsburg arrives for Chief Justice William Rehnquist's funeral services.
- Ginsburg attends a dinner at the White House, with over 350 women leaders.

Get well soon Justice Ginsburg. I don't necessarily agree with your opinions, but I agree that you need to get healthy.
1Hope she gets better
2Justice Antonin Scalia and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, are polar opposites as two people can be, yet they are close personal friends. That friendship includes their families. Maybe some of those that post here could learn something from them. You can disagree without being disagreeable, or impugning the motives of those that you disagree with, or having to change you political philosophy.
3And the dirty is for Blu, she knows it.
4GS, I agree Jude is a good choice, I would list a few them, but might insult someone by unintentionally leaving their names off because they do not post often enough for me, or because, I might insult them by saying something nice about them.
5You're right GP. I really enjoy and have fun with most of them.
6Well said, Grandpa. But Dave can be a load. *winking, grinning, and, of course, ducking*

Hi!!! Everybody!
8Well said Grandpa!
9Dirty? Who's dirty?
10Good grief, did someone report my obvious joke? Sheesh.
11Why would that get deleted? Bizarre.
12Enlighten me!!
13We were basically being all happy happy like. I said some of my favorite people here are the dirty smelly other politcal persuasion. Beyond obviously a joke. I said you were the dirty!
14I object!

15Ok I don't.
lol. But seriously, who could possibly be offended by that?
16Maybe Jude was offended that you called her smelly?
17she would. Curse you Jude and your hyper sensitivity to your odiferous malady.
18Oops I thought you thought I was the stinky one
And I dunno if it was reported or disappeared into Sugarland? This site has been wonky lately...
19Jude DOES smell! Can't mess with the truth!
20it didn't disappear. And yeah she does!
21Well then someone got their panties in a bunch.
22There's been quite a bit of people getting their panties in a bunch on this site lately. Everyone needs to take a chill pill and stop taking the internet so seriously.
23That is quite a doily, one to rival judge judy's
