88-year-old Gladys from Austin, TX, called Ellen DeGeneres one day to advise her to move a plant that was directly behind her head, making her look like Alfalfa. Ellen liked her advice and personality so much she called her the next day and just let this one-woman stand-up routine go to town. If I could ever be as cool as Gladys, I would die a happy woman.

3I love gladys!
4"Gladys" is definitely not a real person. Well. She might be a real person, but I doubt they didnt plan this. Who answers the phone like that? And. it just sounds scripted.

7Hilarious. I love Gladys.
8I'm not sure who is funnier - Gladys or Ellen's reactions to what Gladys says. I laughed so hard - this was great!
9Love this!!! Gladys is a hilariously cute lady!
10I don't laugh at just anything. This was awesome!
11I loved watching Ellen laugh and laugh. What a riot.
12This was hilarious, but Gladys is not a real person. I live in Austin and she frequently calls a morning show under a different name. She has done so for at least five years. I am pretty sure that she is actually a he. Nevertheless, it was really funny.
