Even if you haven't read the book, I'm sure most of you are counting down the days until He's Just Not That Into You comes out on the big screen! As a big fan of the advice that Greg Behrendt and co-author Liz Tuccillo dish out, I jumped at the chance to talk to the man himself to get the inside scoop on dating, the rules of the game, and how his book has affected women everywhere.
To see what Greg has to say about the best piece of advice he's ever received, read more
What's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten from someone?
The best piece of advice I've heard lately is a quote from Mike Tyson which is "Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face." I think that's an interesting way of looking at life. We never know what's around the corner. I think it's your responsibility to make your life good. The most important thing is to look at what's actually happening in your relationship and not what you want to have happen.
Stay tuned because I have a lot more to share from my interview with Greg!

Great advice! That's so true, you need to focus on the now rather than the what could...you'll miss out on everything happening at this moment by thinking and planning about things that might not ever happen. Stay in the now.
1Ugh, BORING!
2lol - love it
3if only Mike Tyson acted a little less, er, instinctually in general
good advice....cold hard truth about dating. its like DOH oh dead on thats why hes not calling. but i shutter everytime i hear that phrase "hes just not that into you" because the signs are right. and i hate being that woman who falls for that.
4Hey, Sugar, can you switch that Steve dude for Greg? Greg at least comes across as a nice guy and is funny. Would love to hear his answers to questions from gals here.
5i really like the other book he co-wrote with his wife
6i would like to say i bought this book a few years ago and followed it ie when i dated someone I played hard to get not returning calls ect then i met my now boyfiebd an d i have to say i stopped playing the games, called and text when i felt and all is good so i have mixed feelings as to wither this book actualy works or not-its still a good read though x
7wow im sad to see this book recommended on this site ! i find it offensive, old-fashioned and anti-feminist. games don't need to be played to catch a man. learn to be comfortable with yourself and love will find you.
8bethsuga1 - that is basically what the book says, you should read it. The movie totally takes it out of context and isn't really an accurate depiction of what Greg writes about.
The book is all about learning to love yourself before somebody else can love you.
9Also - you don't need to be anti-feminist to allow love into your life. Love can come in many shapes and forms and isn't necessarily the love of a "lover" that we are talking about here.
