I've used this before. It's a little sticky at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. The only big problem is putting it in and then waiting another 15 minutes...
1Also, if your guy goes down on you during that time, he might get a nasty taste in his mouth or his mouth might go numb.
I got 100% cause I use this!! I'm on the Pill and use this as a 2nd form (or Encare, its a spermicide gel)... VCF is a little stickier and harder to... administer than Encare, which basically has a tampon-like applicator. love either of them, though!

10I have been using this along with condoms. I am finding it really hard to put in because it sticks to your finger and then you can't get it in far enough. But other than that, it is good because there is no hormonal side effects and its not at all messy like spermicidal foam is. To answer someone else's question, I am quite sensitive but I have not noticed any burning. I don't even feel it.
11I have been using this for over three years and I love it! I was so sick of hormones screwing with my emotions and this was something me and my boyfriend found together. Definitely don't recommend oral after inserted, tastes really bad.
12my mom uses this (gross, i know) and she says it's really great. I've never tried it because i thought it was less effective. 94% isn't as high as condoms but condoms are so annoying!!
13100%!! This stuff is great. It's our main form of BC since I can't be on anything hormonal. We skipped it once and used a condom, and it broke!
The great thing about this stuff is even though you do have to have it in for 15 minutes before, it lasts 3 hours!
On a side note, it's MUCH easier to put in if you're not already... Excited. But once it's in, it's not messy like most other spermicides. Oh, and the cost vs. condoms is pretty comparable.

25ooh I kind of want to try it too! I wonder if it's available in Australia. We have much more stringent controls on medicinal studies, so things are released way more slowly than in the US.

27So this sounds really good, but i have so many questions....can the guy still explode in you using this? Do you really have to use it with a condom? Is it really that protective? And do you really have to insert a new one right before each intercourse? I thought it lasts for 3 hrs....
28I just don't understand the whole 3 hr thing if you have to insert one each time before intercourse....maybe i'm just stupid and am missing something
