I watched the Golden Globes with a group of loud friends on Sunday so last night, after watching highlights from the big show, I was glad to finally hear Kate Winslet's acceptance speech. Through her emotional words, she was able to passionately tell her husband and director of Revolutionary Road, that she loved every second of working with him on the film and that it made her love him more.
Being able to fall in love with your significant other over and over again must be one of the secrets to having a long-lasting, successful relationship. So tell me, what are the little things that make you love your partner even more than you already do?

His perseverance and strength. He's been more than anyone I know or will probably ever meet.
1He cracks me up. I've never met anyone who can make me laugh that hard, that much.
2a) He makes me a better person or makes me try harder to be
3b) He makes me giggle and laugh like no one else (even when I am mad at him)
c) He can always get me out of my funk
d) I love the way he smells when he wakes up in the morning...a mix of man, sleep, cologne that has worn off, and sleep. YUM and HOT
traveling with him!
4He is there for me in bad times. We went away this weekend and returned to my house to find it broken into (luckily nothing was taken). I was terrified, but he took care of everything and made me feel like I can get past it.
5When he smiles and winks at me from across a crowded room. That always makes me melt.
6He's incredibly sweet, intelligent, funny, confident but not conceited. He's way more romantic and even thought we literally live oceans apart, he makes me feel as if he's right next to me all the time.
7It's the littlest things he does, sigh...
-He takes my mom out to dinner when I'm out of town for work.
8-He insists on driving me to work when it snows and lets me sleep on the way.
-He is left-handed. I have a thing for left-handed guys.
-He always asks the waiter whether there is cheese or cream in the food I ordered because I'm lactose intolerant. He looks out for me.
Kate's second speech was freakin adorable. She was acting like she had never won an award before.
9Certainly not today.
10-when he makes me happy after I have had a bad day.
-when he rubs me, anywhere, or plays with my hair. Its just so nice!
-when he doens't let antyhing get him down. These last 3 months have been tough on him...he really ahs had to take hold of everything and run his family. And he's doing great.
-when he's not scared to tell me how he feels. Or even cry in front of me. I knwo he totally loves and feel comfortable enough around me when he can do this.
-oh yea! when he brings me steeped tea from tim hortons! usually he does when he knows I am swamped at work - to make me take a break!
11when he laughs his true laugh right from the gut at the weirdest things... I love when he does that.
When I kick him off his video games because I want the TV he doesnt complain he just turns it off and sits back to pick a show with me
When I catch him staring at me for no reason and I say "what are you staring at??" and he simply says "you"
When I feel all yucky and I go curl up on his lap and he just kisses my head and tells me that he is madly in love with me
There are so many little things he does that make me fall in love with him over and over again.. sometimes I feel like I dont deserve him but deep down I know we are perfect and deserve each other equally. I love that man!
12FALLEN!!! "When I kick him off his video games because I want the TV he doesnt complain he just turns it off and sits back to pick a show with me" lol my bf is good @ that too. Sometimes I get the "scrunchy face" but most of the time he just shuts 'er down.
13What does make me love my husband even more? Everything about him makes me fall for him more every day!
14lol the most I ever get is "okay honey, let me just finish this mission" so I look at the time and say "Alright, 10 minutes til my show starts so start the count down!" He's pretty good at giving me the TV mostly because he plays video games every waking hour he has available and I read alot so when I want TV he cant really complain.
15I think long relationships are possible when you reinvent your relationship every now and then. We always make goals and have things to look forward to as a couple. This makes things very exciting.

The way my husband is with animals always makes me feel warm and fuzzy --- esp when he takes "my" cats to the vet, and even took the stray cat we were feeding to the vet, without complaining!
17My most recent example happened last night:
18I had to park in another business' space in our building parking lot because someone was in mine. I figured it wasn't a big deal for the last two hours of the day. My bf usually walks to my work after his workday ends so we can ride home together (one car city couple) and when we walked out to the car last night it was gone! Dumb b**** at the bank had my car towed even though it was in the back one of their TEN empty spots. Livid. Anyway, he called the tow company and got us a ride to the lot. After breaking my car out of jail ($320 later) he bought me a bottle of wine, desert and a movie to cheer me up. He's a prince, I tell you.
My husband has a very charming sense of humor. He makes me (and my girlfriends) giggle. His sense of humor is draw for me, as I love to laugh.
19* Sometimes it's just when I catch him looking at me with this,
20well, look. When I see that, I love him even more. Oh, and last night when I asked him why he said that he loves me more than he used to, he said that he decided a couple of weeks ago that he realized that he wasn't going to look any more because I'm perfect for him.
every time we get it on... he's just so into it and can hardly control the things he says its so adorable lol

-When he tells that we're too cutesy, but he likes it that way and hopes we're like that forever
22-When he helps me scrap my car on a cold morning
-When he makes me lunch
-When he says that we can go to DisneyWorld for his birthday and he'll wear a Mickey Mouse ear hat with his name on the back
-and any other cheesetasticness I can think of, he does willingly without being whipped
The way he holds me and makes everything just melt away.
23Number 1 thing, if she can be totally honest with me, and at least trust me enough to be honest, it makes me love her even more. Even if honesty hurts sometimes, that and caring about herself. Can't really stand a woman that doesn't care that much about herself.
24he has this impish grin that still makes me melt after 4 years and the way he always wants to make sure Im ok. We are having our first baby and hes always asking if Im ok, if I need anything- he would drop everything to go get me something from the store if I asked him to. I got a great man and I know it, and if I didnt I have my mother and all my friends to remind me lol. My cousins joke about cloning my husband so they can all have a nice guy like him.
25If my boyfriend knew I was writing this he would kill me. But seeing how much he loves our cats makes me love love him. Every time. I just think it's the sweetest thing. (I'm lame I know it!)
26Ha! I feel the same way, Pop! There's nothing as cute as seeing one of my cats snuggled up on his lap. Especially since my cats had a track record of hating everyone but me, until he came along.
27Time, having an open mind and patience.
Also, the appreciation and gratitude towards the simple, basic stuff.

29I can definitely brag...he cooks, cleans, AND does laundry - all after coming home from a 9-hour workday.
He is the best at helping me get through panic attacks, he doesn't complain when I'm hogging the TV, and I love his little habits. His main one is when we're getting ready for bed, he absolutely cannot have ANY kind of light. He covers up the lights to the DVR, our phones have to be turned on their screens, you see it, it's covered.
30Gosh, reading these is fun!
I MELT when I see him interacting with little kids, he'll just sit and have a conversation with a kid we don't even know for 20 minutes and it's the cutest thing.
I also fall for him when I wake up from napping on his lap and catch him staring at me with the most tender look imaginable...
Most of all it's when he sacrifices his own comfort for me. I remember I had a huge paper due and because I had procrastinated I had to pull an all-nighter. It was super stressed, tired, and overwhelmed with the amount of research I had to do. My bf called me every few hours from night til morning, and even did some research and wrote a section of the paper for me (and it was on a subject he wasn't even familiar with!). He could have easily wished me good luck and enjoyed a good night's sleep but instead he stuck by me the whole night. Amazing.
31So many things for me. From small to large.
Small things like remembering to grab all the trash cans an empty them when taking out the trash, or washing the dishes after dinner, or remembering to turn on the electric blanket on the bed so it's warm when we get in.
Bigger things like listening to things I want or need and remembering, helping me feel better when I'm down, knowing exactly what I need and getting it for me before I even know i need it.
He's a wonderful man.
32When he fiddles with my hair or wraps me up in a gigantic cuddle. Or refuses to let me out of bed when he's asleep. (I'll get up for a glass of water or something and I get cuddled tighter instead!)
But what really makes me melt is when he pulls gargantuan kitty eyes when he doesn't get something he wants, it's so pathetic yet so gorgeous I can't help but be charmed all over again.
33my boyfriend loves to tease me and even though i pretend as if i hate it..i secretly love it!!it is like we are back in the 4th grade again.i turn bright red and give him a fake hit and "you jerk" but i wouldnt have it any other way. the day he stops teasing me is the day i know he has stopped being madly in love with me. he can tease me all day every day because i know ive got him hooked!!!!!
34When he shows a side of himself I didn't know he had. I sometimes pigeonhole us (he's the calm salt-of-the-earth one, I'm the neurotic over-educated one) and when he uses a 50-cent word that I didn't know he knew or he references a book or movie I didn't expect him to know about, it reminds me all over again how multi-faceted he is.
35Queesha I'm with you. My boyfriend is really bad expressing his feelings verbally but he'll do it in other ways. One of them is by teasing me. I pretend i hate it too but love it! He likes teasing since after I pretend I'm upset and he'll come and "comfort" me lol!

37When we're cuddling and watching tv/movie and something sappy or sentimental comes on and he holds me ever tighter.
38These comments are all too adorable.
39He's just always there for me. Always. But there are some things particular things that just make my heart melt.
1. He takes care of me by cooking, cleaning, bringing me tea in bed when I'm not feeling well
402. Every year on the anniversary of the day we met, I come home to the exact same Chinese meal we had on our first date.
3. He cleans the bathroom because it makes me gag
When he calls me pumpkin or angel
4. He'll be out in front of my building after work when I'm not expecting him - so we can walk home together
I misnumbered up there. That's why I'm not an accountant.
