Money is tight for pretty much everyone these days, and no matter what you do to save, it's close to impossible to cut back on everything all the time. Most couples I know have rituals — Friday night date nights, going to the movies on Sundays, or playing on a bowling league — but whatever their tradition is, it probably costs money.
If you're having to pick and choose what activities to keep in the mix, tell me, what are you still spending money on as a couple?

vacation and good-quality groceries/food
1We still go out to eat every know and then. Our favorite is sushi, and that can really add up!

4what we change is if we eat out on Sat night, we stay in and cook for sudnay brunch.

8Dinner out and weekend getaways... just got back from the last one, and there's 2 dollars left on my bank account. Aouch!
9Occasionally eating out (we're really trying to cut back on this one) and occasionally going to the movies and stuff. We also spend a lot on good-quality groceries.
