Got most of them wrong, but I'm okay with that - Americans seem to drop a lot of creepy stuff at midnight!
1I thought New Orleans dropped the New Year's Baby off a building in Jackson Square? I was there in '04 and that's what they did. Maybe it changed after Katrina...
2Last year I celebrated in Key West where you had your choice of three drops... a drag queen in a giant high heel, a conch shell, or a wench on an anchor. I chose to go to the Sushi drop. That is the name of the drag queen, she was really cool. I got to hang out with her celebrity fabulosity afterward.
3Hee, my brother's girlfriend is from Plymouth - I should ask her about the cheese drop!
