Resolutions are hard to keep, and it's not uncommon to fall off the wagon just days after vowing to break a bad habit or pledging a healthier lifestyle. Since we're just two days into the New Year, be honest, have you already broken your New Year's resolution?
Comme des Garcons

Yep, I'm finishing my pack of nicorettes - even though I'd promised myself I would stash it away. I just had the last one, so maybe I won't run to the drugstore to buy another one! That sh*t is so expensive, it almost makes me miss smoking!
1HA!
2My New Year's resolution is much easier this year. I am SURE I can do this
At least one of them, lol...That's why they're useless...just going to stick to life changes.
3Yep, I found an excuse not to hit the gym last night lol. Clearly what I *need* to work on is my willpower.
4I half broke it. Mine was to eat healthier. Well my family cooked all this really good food and of course I ate it...it is not like they cook it all the time. At least I stayed away from fast food, and I only had a single serving. I am back on my plan today though lol.
5My new years resolution was to do a good deed everyday this year. Nothing big, but like yesterday I drove my friend to pick up his car when it was cold out. Today I don't know what I will do but it will be beneficial
6Not yet... Do not cut hair (trims are ok) and floss every day. So far so good... though to be honest, I don't see myself holding out on the hair thing. Cross my fingers!
7Well, I haven't saved $100-150 this month, which was my resolution... so I guess I have. (dumb)
8I broke one of mine like 2 hours after midnight. Oh well.
9I didn't do my yoga this morning, I had so many errands to run!
10Resolutions are bull. I live in the now.
11My resolution is to give up sodas and this guy named Mike. So far so good on the soda front... but talked to Mike this morning.... UGH
12well... it's only the 3rd of Jan (in Australia - and we're ahead of almost everywhere) so no, I haven't! ask me again in a week or two, haha!
13Neither--I don't make New Year's resolutions.
14Mr resolution was to take my camera with me more places and take more pictures.....So far so good.
15Yeah. I skipped the gym today. Ugh... well tomorrow is another day.
16I didn't even bother making a new year's resolution.
17I want to save and I bought a DSLR just before New Year's so I guess I did break my resolution because I'm paying for the camera now.
18I have so many I'm not sure I will be able to keep up, lol. So far I have been sticking to them!
19Lol, all resolutions are good for is pretending you'll do something, then making an excuse as to why you don't feel like it. It's still fun though
.
20Well uh... how about... I haven't *started* on my resolution? Mine was to work on being more open to connecting with other people. I always feel like I come off cold or avoid make a connection, etc. My resolution is to work on that and to be honest I haven't really started... but, I have all year to get there =)
Really, I think we should stop looking at it like "Oh, well I already fell off the wagon, so I might as well do whatever" the whole point of willpower and setting goals is that you fall off and get back on, or, in my case... eventually work up the courage to start
21I'm sticking to mines this year and next year faithfully!
22I've been slacking of last year due to other personal reasons, but I'm back with the vengeances!
yes
23i never do new years resolutions but mine this year is to be nice to myself... i think i can keep this one up!
24yes im keeping it up after all its just adding a bit of sport tio my routine which will be easy but to do what i want without caring soo much of what others think will be a bit harder
25I put other people first alot last year, sometimes to my own detriment. This year, I need to work on self-care, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial etc. If I am personally not in good shape in those areas, I won't have enough to give to others the way I really want to anyway.
Hit yoga this am at 8:00, so far, so good!
26Happy New Year!
Nope, not yet. I haven't broken one of them. I started my resolution on New Years eve and so far so good. I haven't taken the vacation that I wanted, which I expect will be by the summer anyway. But as for the other, (stop helping others that don't appreciate my free help, even though they are the only ones benifiting from it) then I'm doing great!
27No I have not spent money or smoked
28Good for you, freshmama! I've stuck to my "no sodas or sweet teas." Water, milk, juice, coffee, and spirits...that's all.
29No I have surprisingly kept mine. My resolution was to be nicer to people (because I have this mean streak that I honestly didn't realize I had.) For example, I can go to the store and overhear someone talking and I'll make fun of the way they, say, sound like a valley girl. I have been so good though about it. Now, instead, I'll say "Oh I like her jacket."
