Yesterday, I showed you the Google search results for worst band in the world. Verdict? Creed. OK, look, I know they're cheesy, but there's something about "My Sacrifice" that totally bypasses my rational thought. I love it even though I'm not supposed to — like macaroni and cheese eaten with fried chicken, plus dessert. What song (or songs) are you embarrassed to love?

Scholl

probably "total eclipse of the heart". after a bad day i turn it on and just jam to the epic cheese. i personally can't help it, lol, even though most people think that song is hilarious.
1MC Hammer's "You can't touch this"!!! I know, I know it's cheesy.
Would NEVER admit to liking this song to ANYONE I know.
2Don't even have it on my ipod cause I'm afraid someone will see it...LOL.
LOL Giggle! I loved that first Creed CD... I'd belt out "One" with such passion.
Let's see I think my choice is Bananarama, "Cruel Summer" I still love it as much as I did in my big hair, neon wearing 80's days.
3I am not ashamed of any of the songs I love from "Ice ice baby" to "If I were king of the forest"
4Oh man "Total Eclipse of the Heart" gets me every time. "Don't Stop Believin" is definitely on my list as well. I can't say as much for Creed.
5And it's not being ashamed it's just knowing the song is bad, but somehow still loving it anyway.
6Waiting for a Star to Fall by Boy Meets Girl. Not as well known, but I looooove it! I also like How do You Talk to an Angel by Jamie and I can't remember his last name. Oh! And the Postman Song. All these songs are really cheesy love songs from the early nineties but they are so amazing
7Pop Goes the World by Men without Hats. Oh and Video killed the Radio Star
8Mine is Celine Dion's "I'm Alive".
I take it out of my iPod sometimes when I know my friends are going to mess with it.
And Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush...
9OMG.. I LOVE Pop Goes The World... lmao...
...Johnny played guitar, Jenny played bass... the name of the band was the Human Race....
Thanks! Now it's in my head for the rest of the day!
10Boys by Britney Spears.
11LOL ... I love some of these songs listed! (I totally love Total Eclipse of the Heart!!!) I guess mine would be either I Will Survive or I'm Still Standing (Both of those were my theme songs growing up!)
12Duran Duran's "Rio." The embarrassment comes not from liking the song, but from my undeniable and irresistible need to break out into a foolish display of groove-atude!
13I like ''My Sacrifice too''...
14"Venus" (Bananarama version), "Don't let me be misunderstood" (Santa Esmeralda version), "Somebody's watching me" (Rockwell), "I like to move it" (Reel 2 Real)
15Come on, Fuzzles..."Rio" is awesome! Anything from Duran Duran's first two albums is great so I didn't write any of their songs (because that doesn't embarrass me all).
16*I meant "...at all".
**Sorry, I can see your point now
17That fergie song where she looks like boy george in the video, I cannot remember the name of it.. Me myself and I..
I loathe Fergie, but that song gets me.... I would never go so far as to download it tho
18Don't worry Spiderlove, I got myself stuck on it too!!!
Boy do I miss the 80s.....
19I TOTALLY know Waiting For A Star to Fall, Jenkies...and I love that one. Takes me back to dancing in my yard with my sisters.
Duran Duran shouldn't embarrass anyone. That's classic pop, man!
The sad part is
that when I hear any of their stuff at the stores, I start singing along...and I ain't a singer at all! teehee...
I'm not really embarrassed to love any music...but I will say that I love "Grown Man" on the New Kids on the Block cd. Love it...and it's a really dumb song, lyrically.
20Greatest Love Of All by Whitney Houston. One of the ulitmate cheesy songs, but I still love it!
Also have to admit secretly still loving Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Even though they shattered my nine year old heart when Ginger left, Wannabe still somehow rates.
All this is made worse considering I'm a huge Metallica fan :0
21LOL- "Black Velvet" by Allanah Myles. The funny thing is that its all about Elvis, and I am not an Elvis fan...but that is one of those songs that makes you PERFORM in your car, singing your heart out...
Next time you see a crazy looking girl in a car seemingly yelling at herself...or convulsing-No worries, its just me belting out a this song!
22Wow - this is a tough question GiggleSugar b/se I have so many guilty song pleasures. I agree with Creed's "My Sacrifice" - I think the lead singer's facial expression throughout the music video is part of what makes it so lame. I also like Celion Dion, Mariah Carrey, and Vitamin C. I'm sure there are others, but that's all I have for now.
23I actually like Creed (don't shoot me) and Scott Stapp is a great singer, even though he's a douche. "My Sacrifice" is a really good song.
I also like a few Nickelback songs, but I'm not too crazy about the band as a whole.
24"Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake.
25land down under by men at work. brightens my day whenever i hear it!!
