Ben Stiller did his best Tom Cruise interpretation, Tom Cruise took on a very surprising role, and the ensemble, including Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr., proved that Hollywood parody is alive and well.
So alive, in fact, that Tropic Thunder wins GiggleSugar readers' votes for the funniest comedy of 2008. Coming in at a very close second is Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Thanks to everyone who voted.

Am I the only person disappointed by this movie? I laughed one time, at the end (the Ben Stiller/bridge scene). My boyfriend fell asleep after 20 minutes. We both love all of these guys, but won't be watching Tropic Thunder again.
I did, however, love Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was a nice surprise since I hadn't heard anything about it before watching.

4Completely agree with OhFish. My husband also fell asleep after about 15 minutes. I kept trying to watch but turned it off after about 30 min. My mom did the same. We all love the guys in the movie so we thought it would be hilarious. We were all very disappointed.
