I love "worst of" movie lists, because it just means that I can get together with some friends, a big tub of popcorn, and watch crapola that's on the list 'til the cows come home! Sometimes, a real stinker is bigger comedy gold than the comedies out that year. What's the worst movie of 2008?

2Thankfully I haven't seen any of these movies. The worst movie I saw this year was Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Loved the first one, second one was too depressing
3I didn't see all of these but I assume the Hottie and the Nottie had to be the worst!
4unforntunately I watch a couple of these and I have to say "The Happening" is REALLy BAD!!!
"Fools Gold" - I couldnt get past the first 15 minutes.
"The Mummy" wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be.
"Prom Night" it was alright...its not the worse.

6I only went to see the mummy because of Jet Li, and what did I get? like 5 minutes of him... 5 MINUTES! or less, I remember the part when George of the Jungle told Master Jet li to "fight like a man" or something like that, I was "omg you're so dead jungle boy..."
but I agree with you Martini, it wasn't as bad as I though it would be.
7the love guru wasn't that bad! it was just probably the most commonly watched one of this whole list because mike myers is very funny and it's a little more mainstream than some of the others!
8I have not seen any of those movies. I'd pick either "Disaster Movie" or "Hottie and the Nottie"

11Hottie was the worst, eventhough I haven't even watched it. The previews were enough.
12I've only seen Prom Night (not SO bad as far as teen horror flicks go, which are ALL stupid and awful). But I still voted for Hottie/Nottie...for obvious reasons.

The worst movie I saw this year has to be "Be Kind Rewind". AWFUL! And I really was expecting to enjoy it.
14se7 -- I totally agree with you. It's one thing when a movie sucks but you weren't expecting anything, another thing altogether when you had high hopes. I HATED that movie...

19I actually didn't think Prom Night was bad at all? And how many of you who picked "The Hottie and the Nottie" actually saw it? I bet maybe like, 5 people. It really wasn't that bad. Just because it sounds terrible in theory and has Paris Hilton in it doesn't make it horrible. Don't judge it till you've seen it.
20Also, I don't think the Happening was meant to be horror.. it was pretty bad though I'll admit.
21I liked the happening and 10,000BC ...however, prom night was awful.
22The Happening. Hands down. My friend dragged me to the theater... She even paid for my ticket - because I refused to give M. Night any of my money. Then I proceeded to turn to her and give her the stink eye in the theater about every 3 1/2 minutes when something even more stupid continued to NOT happen on screen. She continually mouthed "I am sooooo sorry"... but nothing can erase that horrible mind-numbing movie from my brain. Nothing happens in the whole movie. Nothing. NOTHING! And yet it will make you so angry. The continuous close-ups/reaction shots... when nothing is happening. sigh.

26Basically every movie was awful this year. Catepillar girl did make me lol with twilight. Since when is everybody into sexy vampires? This poll should really be adjusted to include 'all'.

30lol, I liked twilight, though its a given that it sucks compared to the books, and 10,000 bc. I was disapointed in fools gold, big time, but i didnt even bother to see most of the rest of them.
