Before YouTube, I guess young girls just wrote in their diaries. Now? They record their most awesomest and important thoughts on webcam for all the world to see. This song teases their self-importance ("She was all, he was like, OMG, totally!") but I see it a little differently. In a few years, if they date men, they'll be doing an awful lot more listening than talking about themselves. Enjoy it now, girls!
