Men and women have used every excuse in the book to get out of sex — I'm too tired, I'm not in the mood, I'm stressed, I have to get up early, etc. 
Well, now there's a new excuse — "I'd rather surf the Net." Yep, Intel did a survey and discovered that "46 percent of women would rather go without sex for two weeks than give up the Internet for that long." The numbers are slightly lower for guys, only 30 percent of all men would swap lady lovin' for the Internet for the same amount of time. Either these people are having some pretty bad sex, or the web addresses they're visiting are way more exciting than an earth-shattering, orgasmic love session.
These stats depress me. I love technology as much as the next person, but how can it be more important than a real-life, personal, intimate connection? Tell me ladies, would you rather give up sex or your Internet connection for two weeks?

1Hmmm... okay... so part of me is really addicted to the Internet, and logically I would find it very difficult, but I know I need to take breaks from it sometimes. Plus, my last relationship failed due to lack of sex and I'll never forget that, so of course I'll give up the Internet!!
2I would rather give up the internet. I agree with Muirnea. Real life personal intimate connection is the BEST! Also the internet doesn't help you develop good social skills.
3I don`t think this is a relevant question. let`s say on an average u have sex like what? 3 times a week? but u spend 3-6 hours online everyday with different purposes..being either work or pleasure.

If I was in a relationship, it'd probably be sex. Don't get me wrong... I like sex. I just know I can go without it for two weeks and it'd sure make him wiggle.
9I actually HAVE to have internet to pay bills, access my homework, find out if class has been moved/canceled, so, if given this option right now, I would simply have to give up sex for two weeks.
However, if I didn't NEED the internet for so many things, then I would give it up to keep some hot lovin'.

19I would-grudgingly-give up the sex. I mean, it'd literally be hard to get by with out the Internet! I couldn't do my online class, pay bills, keep in touch with folks, or do my job! 2 weeks without sex would just be really, really sucky and annoying. And horny.
20Yep, as much as sex is amazing, you can catch up on it if you leave it for a couple of weeks;) But the internet? You lose that and what is traded can never be gotten back...homework, tests, communication, bills, news, and so much more.

222 weeks is not that long to go without sex. At least not for me. On the other hand, I don't mind long breaks from the internet on occasion. (since I am basically glued to my laptop otherwise)

28depends how you look at this question. i would obviously rather have sex than surf the 'net, but giving up sex for two weeks over giving up the internet is different than choosing not to have sex because you want to go online. many people dont get to have sex/ dont have sex everyday anyway, but they use the internet on a daily basis for whatever reason.
