Meet Danelle, a professional cat groomer who particularly likes shaving Persians — and then surprising their owners with handbags made of their shorn fur. (Pause to take that in.) How did the first person she did this for respond to the bag? "She had no words to express how she felt about it. She was in tears over it." I don't have too many more words about this either, so I'll turn it over to you. Is a handbag made of your pet's fur (even a pet named "Smelly Cat") cute or creepy?

WHAT?!?
o.o
My friend spins yarn from dog hair. It's makes me sneeze.
ew sick
I can't stop laughing at the fact that this woman is spinning pet hair yarn...and what about people who are allergic? I guess they're not exactly in the market for a pet hair purse.
that's gross, sorry.
This is so weird!
I have a tibetan terrier (very cute, medium sized, VERY furry, like floor length furry) and one of my friends suggested I do this, only make it a sweater. Umm... No thanks, I'll buy my yarn from fabric/craft stores. And my puppy can keep his built in sweater.
Less creepy than fur from dead animals.
Wow Persians are really ugly, lol.
I agree Foxie, it is less creepy than from dead animals. I wonder though if it would sell better if it were made into like stuffed kitten toys or mittens for children? Ponder ponder....
Um, I think not.
I can't decide how I feel about that.
less creepy than people taxidermy-ing their dead pets, though.
LOOOOOOL
I guess I am the lone ranger on this one because I think this is awesome!! These cats need to be groomed any way, they are not being hurt or treated bad, and the bags are truly cute!!
Unfortunately I have chihuahuas so they do not have enough fur to shave or I might try to do this!!
Creepy. Definitely.
Eww only cuz some of the bags are ugly but ahh cuz if its your cats fur its would be fine and no different than wool or leather (which is way ickyier if you stop and think about it, I dont I love leather)and hey who doesnt have a friend they can borrow a loom thingy from
lol theyve been doing this for YEARS. i guess growing up in a family who owns like 4 or so grooming shops has desensitized me to this. i still think its disgusting, and none of my family has ever done it, but people ask a LOT. alot of pet owners are little old people who love their pets more then the kids whove moved on and are ignoring them. its an intense bond, and i can see why some people would do it. its like the memorial websites that people make when a pet dies (totally guilty), just a more extreme version.
I went Ahhh because I saw a spinning wheel. Mostly ewww on the cat bag thing. Though I'll admit some of them, toward the end of the video were decent looking.
