Like most of you, I, too, asked myself while watching this Barack Obama victory plate commercial, "Is this for real?" It's not an SNL or Daily Show skit; I saw it with my own two eyes during my Thanksgiving weekend television watching marathon/extravaganza. What can I say that this hilarious commercial doesn't say for me? "Yes you can own a piece of history" — but just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I thought the same way you did Giggle when I saw this commercial for the first time. What a waste of good ad space!!
1The coin is just as bad
2I've been seeing these plates and other commemorative items for sale since I can remember. But in reality the value does not really rise much. Unless Obama was assassinated or he turns out to be an alien or some other scandalous act happens it really won't be worth much at all in 20 years.
3I had a dream about this commercial last night.
4Yeah, not even if someone offered to buy it FOR me would I want one of those. LOL
5Barf...for so many reasons...
6Please...although I do agree with Seitan. And why is his race always included in everything everyone says? Just curious.
7Tacky, ugly, hideous. I'd never waste a penny and a space in my house for that hideous thing.
