Was it just me or did 2008 feel like a very stressful, yet exciting year? Not only did we make presidential history, but our economy unfortunately made history too. Whether it's your bank account, your career, your relationship, your family, or your future, tell me, what was your biggest worry in 2008?

Whether or not my boyfriend can fly over next year. Thanks to the economy it's a question mark once again. I'm a patient girl but after two years and four months of long-distance dating and zero physical contact, you're bound to long for him.
1some family member's health issues....and about a million other things..im def worrying all the time about everything!
2Finding a job! I graduated a year ago and had the toughest time finding employment. Thankfully I found a great job in March
33. The impending doom of paying for student loans I mostly didn't use for myself.
2. Finding a job.
1. Losing my mind.
4up until the summer, i was very worried about not getting in permanent at my job, and not getting another job i was going for, and while i didn't get the second job, the first job did become permanent, which is very awesome
and then earlier this year i was worried that my "perfect" bf and i would break up. and that also happened, but it was also awesome, because not too long after, i met a WAY more perfect bf, who i love and adore and know i'm meant to be with...so everything happens for a reason!
5It was a really low-stress year for me. I have a wonderful husband, great house, fun job, amazing friends...life is good!
6Breaking off my engagement.
7finding a job, which I still haven't
8Getting married last August
Moving four hours away...Moving in general for the 4th time in 2 years. Ugh.
Health of myself and family
I'm a worrywort of the worst caliber.
9I'm glad the election is decided. That was a headache! There has to be a better way to 'hire' a president that doesn't take 2 frickin' years. All that wasted commercial money!!!
My biggest worry is more people losing their jobs. And I worry about getting sick without any health insurance.
10How to get through/forget my bestest friend betraying me.
11organizing my wedding and finding a job!
12Wedding planning (married in May), taking the NCLEX (Nurse Licensing Exam), finding a job (I start in the new year), and setting up a new life as a married couple.
13Now it's getting through finals and orchestrating our first Christmas with all the assorted family.
my dad's health, my sister-in-laws health, the close proximity of fires to my family, and the loss of homes for my friends in the fires.
14I was worried that I wouldnt know from day to day what lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were doing, whether or not she wore leggings, or got some coffee, or even walked on the sidewalk okay, Thank God for Popsugars insistent posts on that subject, i would be a goner otherwise.
15A combination of my dad having cancer and my failing relationship ... it was a really tough summer for me.
16Ending my 6 year relationship. :'(
and gossip at work.
17making it work my new job that consists in working for myself ....
18Oh, so many ... I can't choose just one. I'm a huge worrywart but this year had some new challenges!
1. The whole house-buying process - whether we were ready, all the mechanics of finding and financing it (one week until we close the deal), and now, in two weeks, the move.
2. Figuring out if I'll have a job in 6 months, whether I want to keep this job and what I should do instead. (All of these still in process!)
3. Trying to be a better wife and figuring out what I can ask my husband to do to be a better husband. The first few months of the year had some rough spots; better lately but there's always room for improvement.
19Not having enough money for all the things we need.
20Making sure that we did everything right to get our mortgage going and being able to get our dream house. We still haven't, the mortgage company is is doing so many checks and stuff that the process is taking so long.

22findin a job and ending my three year relationship at the begining of the year ...
23and then tryin to find a decent man to date ... except I guess that shouldn't be one of my biggest concerns ...
personal health issues
241) getting married in feb and the fall-out from his family.
252) our firm's potential merger (which never did happen -- lots of worrying for nothing!) and the fact that my boss left for greener pastures in august.
The big breakup with the ex... Trying to get over him, while still being his best friend... Then finding an ideal time to stop talking to him for awhile, so I can properly get over him.
26Being more successful in my job. I'm an I-9 contract employee with a great firm but the first year was very tough.. There were many times I didn't have a dollar to my name and couldn't drive until I got a check to buy gas with (and gas was crazy expensive).. but it's definitely paid off because this year has been amazing and I'm looking forward to being more successful next year
27My pup getting sick and being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of canerous tumor in her nose and being told I'd have to put her down in a few months (my last dog also died of cancer and I had to put her down too). Another is having to pay over $3,000 at the vet hospital in NYC to reach this diagnosis (and now trying to pay it all off from money on credit or borrowed). Plus my hamster died.
Not my best year ever.

29I moved to a new city three months ago and still haven't found a decent place to live. I'm living in a cheap hotel at the moment and really want a place to call home! I've lost out on a few apartments that I really wanted because demand was so high, and I also had to turn one beautiful place down because it had been broken into twice. I feel like I am never going to find a place! It's been very stressful but I am trying to stay positive.
30Many things that will hopefully not worry me in the new year
31Many things that will hopefully not worry me in the new year
32my daughter's heart surgery...still have to worry about it. Hopefully this year coming up it will get resolved! Other than that everything was good.
33autism. what it costs, how it impacts my daughter who has it, how it affects my daughters who do not. same as every year for the last 8 years, same as every year for as long as i live.
34Colon cancer, Chron's Disease, Double Depression, and the money fall out from hospital bills.
*Money always finds a way to make the list.
35Haha caterpillargirl! =)
36Money. And I'm a really nervous flyer and have to fly next week - that's my worry of the moment!
37By the way - anyone else a nervous flyer? Any advice?
38My grandfather being diagnosed with terminal cancer and then passing away in October. I have no idea how long it will take before it stops hurting.
39getting into grad school!
40that question alone has furrowed my eyebrows and sent me into another fit of worries ahha
41i always have the fear of losing people i love in my life! I hate this feeling!
