I'm still waiting for a great female comedian to break out. There's been some on Last Comic Standing, but they never pick any good comics to go to the house, so I never see them again. Although, there was one woman on season 2 who I loved. I can't remember her name, but she made it pretty far and no, I'm not talking about Kathleen Madigan. I didn't care for her either.

Briandiesel, I agree with you about the Sarah Silverman thing. She's taking 5 year old boy humor and "making it comedy" because she's a woman. Big deal. It's neither original nor shocking.

I will say that Stand-Up is a hard business. My Dad's been in it for about 20 years now. He missed a lot of my kid years because he was traveling and never making a lot of money, so maybe she's out there, but hasn't hit it big yet. Where ever she is, I'll sit here waiting for you to stand-up and make us laugh.

I adore Margret Cho..although...I really didnt care for the Cho Show.
