Be Prepared to Answer Those Tough Questions Tomorrow!
What Question Will You Try to Avoid Most?
All these questions are invasive and can easily make you feel uncomfortable, even in front of your own family. They're all bad, but which one do you plan on avoiding most?
I just got engaged, so the "when's the wedding, what are your colors, when are you going to start a family, etc, etc" questions are the ones I'm dreading. Let me enjoy my engagement for a
sec, people!
My mother never fails to make small comments about how skinny I am ... it really gets irritating when she implies I don't eat or I'm too thin ... coupled with her own comments about how much
weight she's gained. I just wish she'd lay off the topic of weight altogether!
3 4 and 5! Granted, 3 was a straight "when are you getting married?" and not engaged. Just a little bit awkward, but you know it's bad when the moms start in on you.
My boyfriend's mom also has grandbaby-rabies, which is wonderful.
People at gatherings always seem to ask if I've lost weight, even though I haven't. :/ I agree with wambalus. My weight, stay away!

1Does anyone ever know When they will get engaged? (that will be my answer)
2I actually have no reason to avoid any of them. I'm really close with all of my family, so if they ask I'll tell them truthfully. :]
