This is great! I said this last week. I am already blonde, but usually I get low lights in the winter. This time I said, I'M GOING EXTRA BLONDE! I mean, who am I kidding? It's not like the
blonde is natural...and neither is my tan.
Ha Ha...I had this idea in September. I started to go blonder. It was a disaster. If you have very dark hair DO NOT go blonde. II have been working on achieving the desire color blonde and it
has been so difficult. My hair is a mix between blonde and orange. I am SO over it! Tomorrow, I have an appointment to straighten things out.
ive nvr heard of the dying your hair for the seasons b4 i came to this site. Who the hell cares what your hair color is at a certain time of the year as long as you look good.
well, depending on where you live, you have to dye ur hair for dif seasons. i have to go light in the summer or my brown hair turns orange... its safe for me to go dark in the winter because
the sun isnt as damaging and all of that... im in west/south Florida... anyone that lives here knows how it is in the summer... i dyed my hair black 2 summers ago... it was orange in like 2
weeks.
I have dark brown hair. In the summer I get highlites and in the winter I darken it to a dark, dark brown. I dont know why, but it just works that way.
Blonde doesn't look right on me in any season! One time, I wore a blonde wig as part of a costume, and a very trusted friend said that if I ever thought about doing it for real, she'd have to
pretend she doesn't know me
...Except if you're a tanned Asian. Damn if there's one thing that annoys me it's tan Asian chicks who go blonde, like my sister. A la Tila Tequila. I mean WHY
Im a brunette and I look ridiculous as a blonde (ive tried!) So during the winter I will usually just go to like an auburn or a darker brown, its not a huge difference, but I always get the
urge to change it up this time of the year.
I am usually dark blonde with highlights in the summer, couple of weeks ago wanted something richer, like chestnut with highlights. I ended up with a chocolaty brown with some
highlights...looks fine, but when I go back for touch up, will definitely ask for more warmth.
Funny how it is that we change our hair like that...its just so fun, and let's face it, it's just hair!
I agree with bastylefilegirl: as a black girl, blonde hair is...just a big NO. @_@
I had blonde highlights 5 years ago for one whole year (bad advice from my hairstylist)...NEVER AGAIN, not in ANY season! Nobody took me seriously and expected to me to act "ghetto" or
something.

15This is funny because my three best friends just went super blonde!! I think it's fun to go against the seasons and go dark in the summer!
