Campaign Alumni Who Need a Book Deal
Literary agents predict that a book scribed by Sarah Palin would bring in enough cash for the former VP candidate to make many scandal-free visits to Neiman-Marcus. Experts
believe that Palin's book deal could be worth $7 million. Since the latest battle for the White House was especially dramatic, there are many other behind-the-scenes-characters that could write about their experiences. Here's a list of other 2008 campaign veterans I would add to my reading list (title suggestions welcome). Don't worry — Joe the Plumber is
not included.

Heh, I'm not mad at her. I'd take the $7 million book deal too. It's not as if the McCain campaign didn't use her and then hang her out to dry in the media.

Although, I have to wonder how many bridges that woman is going to burn when her book comes out? Or will it be the kind of book that doesn't make enemies at all?

4Palin has tons of fans, so I'm sure that they would just jump right on that. The kind of people who are curious about what she has to say for herself; they would be on that book train too. Many people, many.

8Even though it looks like Stevens is going to lose his race, I would wait until all of the votes are counted in that one until I declare what Palin is going to do next.

10Oh, last I heard the counting was done, but it was still within the margin that he could request a recount.

12Regardless, I think Palin wants power and influence much more than she wants money, so I doubt we'll be seeing a book from her in the near future.
13I think lilkim is right--I doubt the Palin book's gonna be a go. I would like to read a book from Cindy McCain, but again, I doubt she will ever release one.

18Cindy will never write a book, she is too private and she does not need the money, that's for sure.

i think that there's more to be said about the palin book deal. there are a LOT of people who just got a little taste of her and what she's about and now that the media is spinning things about her that are obviously not true, we could use a book to set the record straight.
