Reports have broken that Barack Obama will appoint lawyer Eric Holder to the position of attorney general. A former judge, Holder also served as Bill Clinton's deputy attorney general and led Obama's VP search team. He would be the fist African-American to lead the Justice Department.

Newseek reports [1] that Holder accepted the job, but an announcement will not be made until after Holder is officially vetted and until Obama chooses Treasury and State Department secretaries.
