Last night on The Hills, Audrina and Lauren have yet another heart-to-heart about Audrina's relationship with Justin Bobby. Although most of Audtrina's friends are skeptical of their relationship, she continues to defend it by saying she just doesn't have the same chemistry or connection with anyone else. Lauren referred to Justin as Audrina's "number one," and it got me thinking about those guys that will always have your attention, no matter how wrong they might be. Even if you're not with him anymore, tell me, have you ever had a number one?

13My number one was from high school. Never even dated the guy because I was too shy and he never asked me. He was the star of all my fantasies. He still pops into my head every so often.

15I am definitely lucky to be dating mine. My old #1 was an older guy, who had all the charm in the world, but got into bad drugs... Never thought I'd like a guy more than him until I met my current boy of 3 1/2 years.

25Hmm. No, not a single number one. I have some guys in my life that have been in it for a long time, and I get kind of nostalgic when I hang out with them.
26Yup. And he really doesn't deserve to be. My husband is my absolute perfect match, but that doesn't stop my mind from wandering to thoughts about "Mr. I-Was-Soooo-Wrong-About-Mr-Right". I wouldn't go there EVER again, but I still sometimes feel guilty for thinking about him.
27Ha! A "number one" makes me want to use a geeky reference from Star Trek or something. But yes, my number one was a girl in junior high that used to tease me play fight with me. Nothing ever came of it, but I so had it bad for that girl! Once in a blue moon, I wonder what she's doing right now.

He became my number one a couple of years ago as I was
dating his friend. WHOOPS. It's all resolved for the best now.

30Absolutely. We've been on and off for 8 years. I knew it was a problem when one morning, after a night of AMAZING sex (with someone else), I rolled over and was disappointed that it wasn't him. Then I was mad at myself for having that thought. Ugh.
31i think everyone has a number one, that guy you always go back to and you never listen to your friends advice on how he is just trouble. you break up and make up at least 12 times over the course of many years.
i definitely have a number one. i've known him since i was four, my best friend's older brother's best friend haha. i have him on my mind at all times and i know that we'll end up getting back together and breaking up only god knows how many more times. i'm pretty sure all of my friends have "that guy" as well. it's kind of comforting to know that a lot of people experience the same thing as well.
