7 Great Winter Date Ideas
When the seasons change, your date options change as well. Since the days of taking long walks on the beach are behind us,
Glamour.com has come up with three great date ideas when the weather outside is frightening: seeing a play, show, or movie; visiting a museum or gallery; or going out for dinner and a drink. I've come up with my own ideas, too — check them out in this slideshow, and tell us what you enjoy doing with your dates during the Winter in the comments section.

if i suggested a book reading, my boyfriend would throw me off a bridge
but skating is awesome and skiing/snowboarding is also awesome...
night skiing is really fun and really romantic...the hills are quieter, you can snuggle on the chairlift, and you can finish off with beer or hot chocolate!
1I was thinking the same thing...a book reading?? My bf would tell me to go jump off a bridge. I can almost imagine the look of horror on his face right now!
My favorite winter time date is to get snowed in with a good movie, some comfort food, and a good snuggle on the couch. It's cozy, intimate and cheap.
2Agreed with you girls! A book reading will have my boy twitching or something lol..we love to cook though, and played some board games with some beers and some friends this past weekend..all great indoor activities
3I have a few double dates planned to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center for this weekend and next month during the christmas tree lighting.
4Definitely broadway shows cause it's usually less packed.
Galleries please, big galleries and tea and scones after. I love big museums and anything like that. Art is great!
5Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is always a blast, especially after the tree gets lit. Book readings? I don't think I'd even be able to suggest that to my g/f with a straight face. Being snowed in with a few good movies, some music, some drinks, a nice meal by the fireplace and cuddling with the g/f is my idea of the perfect winter time date. Even better if you order in Chinese!
