When asked: You've spoken to some former presidents... Any advice, any good advice they gave you?
Obama said: You know, they were all incredibly gracious. But I think that all of them recognized that there's a certain loneliness to the job. That, you know, you'll get advice, and you'll get counsel. Ultimately, you're the person who's gonna be making decisions.
And I think that even now, you know, I - you can already feel that fact.

i found this to be sad and profound. we never really look at it from the aspect of what they are individually sacrificing to do something good for our country.
i hope it pays off.
