Whether you lost your virginity when you were 14 or 24, I'm sure many of you hold that memory close to your heart. It may not have been as glamorous or enjoyable as you dreamed it would be, but nothing can make you forget how it went down. Since I've heard my fair share of virginity stories, I've come up with a list of 10 common places where people get it on for the first time.

2not me! i was in his room in the basement of his parents house! we had been hanging out with his family and friends right before it, drinking, having fun, and went down there to go to bed and did it. it was one of the last times i'd seen him since because i went off to university right after that and we ended up breaking up over the phone from there and that was that.

10Mine isn't on the list. It was in a tent in the woods behind his neighborhood. There was a pine cone under my butt the whole time and it was August in Florida so it was EXTREMELY HOT. Ahh, memories.
11Mine isn't on here, good old fashioned hotel room after the wedding. A tiny bit awkward at first, but man I wouldn't trade that memory for anything!

23I'm a virgin by choice, and all of these horror stories are making me glad. hahaha. I'm not waiting for marriage for Jesus or anything, really- i'd liek to find a guy who'd be willing to wait though... the guy im with now- almost a year- is very understanding and isn't an *sshole about it like all my exes. The thing is, I have lots of health complications with my reproductive organ/system and its a killer for me to even get an annual @ the gyno so im terrified of having something 6"-8" there. If i lose it soon it will def. be to my bf, although i joked about me losing it to an internal ultrasound machine at age 16...hmph.

25le romantique, same here. I want it to be special with somebody with whom I've made a long-term commitment. It doesn't mean I don't feel sexy or sensuous or desirable or that I don't have needs. I just don't feel like having sex for the sake of it or to 'get it over with'. From what I see, there are a lot of guys that just want to get into young girls' pants. I don't want to be one of those 'quickies'. I'm just thinking how much more special it would be when you finally do it with someone you love.
