The masters of satire over at The Onion have this faux news story about a YouTube challenge to its users: Make a video worth watching. The requirement? That it be somewhat watchable, provide a shred of enjoyment for someone other than the people who made the video, that the person who shoots the video have a reason for doing so other than, "I own a camera," and that the person shoots it while sober. Man, they act as if this, this or this never happened! I rest my case.

These videos that they are asking for would not even be good enough to watch!! We like the videos where the people are drunk and actin stupid!!
1I'd like for the standards for the comments people are allowed to post to be higher.
2I agree Francoise! A good percentage of YouTube comments aren't even intelligible.
I had never watched an Onion video until their one about Obama-obsessed supporters (still giggling about that one). I guess I owe my husband an apology for telling him that fake news is the dumbest idea ever.
