GS everytime I see your avatar I cant help but laugh...really loud!
It makes me happy too!
Absolutely love the photo of the Obamas voting.
The photo of Hillary talking to the child was very touching.
Yeah, you make me laugh (out loud) too.
What the hell? What is wrong with this site? Dream, what the hell? Sheesh.

I really feel sorry for some of you. It must be a lonely life.
Dream, it's comments like that that start wars, what's the point in making them?
There isn't one. The lowest common denominator is taking over this site. That is why the regular posters only comment rarely especially on CS. Even their own side sends pm's saying not to judge the team by the weak player.
I've gotten a few of those myself GS, it's just sad that other people jump on the bandwagon and carry out the rudeness and hostility.
I love that McCain almost NEVER wears a flag pin but Obama got so much flack for not wearing his on a few occasions. Don't you just love double standards?
I agree. No need for nastiness today.
? I am completly out of the loop....
I just think your avatar is funny and cute!
I understood that momma. It isn't you we are talking about. It is the same person it always is.
indie, he's got one on in this pic? I haven't seen Obama called out for that, and if he is, well that's just silly. (Both of them do, McCain's is just round instead of flag shaped LOL)
It would be so lovely if we could keep up a 'no nastiness' policy. Not only would it make discussions more enjoyable, it might actually encourage people to think about something differently if they don't feel like you are insulting them.
I'm really worried about the implications of this election. No matter what happens, I suspect there are going to be some really nasty winners and losers.
As a long-time Citizen reader, I have to say that the tone on CS as of late (the past couple of months) has gotten downright ugly and predictable. My frequenting the site has definitely dropped.
No Nastiness 2008!
Here, here amybdk!
(I'm a newbie commenter, but I read this site for a long time. I actually got inspired and waded into the fray after reading a blog post by GS that said we are getting too polarized in this country.)
Great Sommelier??????? Who???????
What?
Kranky, that's awesome. Always glad to have another friendly poster.
Im a newbie and I like that we have discussions...but I dont like it when it gets too nasty!
Most of us don't momma!
Thanks mich! Back at 'ya.
momma - I totally agree. Back to my original comment - why does anyone ever think they could change someone's opinion by being nasty to them? Don't do it people!
GS fess up yes you do, lol I think we are all guilty sometimes
Pink, I really have to say that I've lost my sense of humor for this site today. Sorry!
Mykie: I don't see the pin, I see a sticker. It's probably the 'I Voted' sticker.
Hope you feel better tomorrow GS
You may be right indie, I can't see it that well. But I can't believe that they are picking on something as trivial as whether or not someone wears a pin. Where did you hear this? I mean seriously, that's ridic. For all we know the man has on Flag underwear! LOL
Thanks pink.

Wow indie. Okay, I'm not an Obama supporter, but I DO remember the thing about having his hand over his heart and I remember thinking then "there's probably a MILLION reasons why he doesn't, why does it matter?"
This is one of those "non-issues" that shouldn't be a part of this election. There are many of them on either side and it's just sad.
