I voted a couple weeks ago and still had about an hour wait but it was worth it!
i voted absentee
I voted two weeks ago!
4Absentee for Obama, + no on Prop. 8, no on parental notification for abortions, and no on the San Diego booze-on-the-beach ban.
5If I was American I would have voted for Barack and no on Prop 8.
6i just voted...i brought my daughter. i took pictures of us leaving the house; both with our Barack Obama shirts on (concealed by jackets of course), it is going to be a historic day. one i want documented.
i feel more proud today to be an american then i ever have before in my 31 years...
7I voted by mail two weeks ago but was still excited to see the lines at two polling places when I took my daughter to school - this is a great day.
8I voted two weeks ago.
9I voted for Obama this morning, and I wish I was a CA resident so I could vote No on Prop Hate.
10
I hope this poll reflects the entire nation!!
Whiplash I live in CA and I voted no on 8
I voted this morning, and it took 5 mins. That's the way it should be.
I tried to vote this morning but the line was ridiculously long. I cant wait to vote after work!!! GO-BAMA!!!
14
Voted for Obama this morning.
My first voting experience. :]
I am not a US citizen. I think I would have a hard time deciding...at least the two main ones are so alike.
16i voted absentee, and went to Obama's rally last night - so awesome - go vote -- get fired up - ready to go!!!!
17
Seriously?
OBAMA!!!
Well...I am a Democratic Delegate, so it was kind of obvious.
But if it were Kerry in his shoes, I would have gone Green party.
19I'm not a citizen (yet) so I can't vote but I have made phone calls for Obama and tried to get as many friends as possible to vote.
20I voted two weeks ago although it is obvious who I voted for isn't that kind of a personal question
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008
21Wow..I hope this poll reflects the results of the real thing!
22I Baracked the vote!
23You guys are so lucky that you get to vote for who you choose and you can be guaranteed a proper result without rigging or intimidation. So many people, including moi, would love to have that choice.
24[ I think I would have a hard time deciding...at least the two main ones are so alike ]
Um, what? They are so alike? Maybe they are alike in the fact that they are both humans and male. Other than that they are polar opposites in just about every way possible.
And I voted on Saturday for Obama. Oh yeah!
I would have made the effort if Ron Paul had been on the ballot somewhere but, as it is, I don't see anyone who deserves my vote. I am sick of the two-party system -- especially when there is only a slight difference between the two candidates, I am disgusted that we still use an electoral college to decide the presidency, and I am baffled by the fact that anyone would still validate this farce of a political system with their time and attention.
26I voted for Obama earlier today. UnDave it took me 5 minutes too. Loved it!
27Nya not all the time look at 2000 and 2004
28
pop: You voted for Obama? I never thought I'd see the day...
I voted for McCain and I made the right choice. You other people are just too influenced by the media and celebrities to make your own choices. You are all either dirt poor and are ready for the "redistribution of wealth," but if not don't come crying when you can't handle the tax increase. There is a reason for social class. People come to America to work and work for a better lifestyle, not just have it handed to them on a silver platter.
30Propostion Hate....well put!
I voted this morning. I was THRILLED to see such long lines; I didn't mind at all waiting for 90 minutes.
It's high time people cared enough to get out and be HEARD.
31Is it wrong to be dirt poor?
32jhadda, kindly speak for yourself. I've been voting since before you were born, no doubt. Celebrities don't have one bit of influence on my vote.
If it makes you feel better to call us names, though, have at it. I'd suggest you grow up first.
33Comment #30 perfectly illustrates why I will be so glad when the results are in and the election season is over.
34Voted this morning — excited to see the results tonight! Glad to see so many people voting today.
35
jhadda-that's the funniest thing I've heard all morning. Yay ignorance!
I am so sick of people that think those voting for Obama are only doing it because the celebrities are making us !!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF Im tired of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In all honesty, I respect those voting McCain if they feel that he better represents their views and beliefs..like i've said before people have different political ideologies, that doesnt
make someone you disagree with less informed, they just dont agree with you!
why cant the same be same for us Democrats???????????????? I vote for Obama because we share the same views about alot of things, just as I am sure you are voting for McCain for your reasons,
im not assuming its because Heidi and Spencer told you too!!!!!!!!!!!
ARGGGG
37I voted early for OBAMA baby!!
38Hrm, jhadda2, somehow "working" for a better lifestyle now includes massive over-leveraging and manipulating financial regulations to allow for predatory lending? Oh and don't you dare pretend that nepotism is at all absent among the "upper class" -- how is getting handed a spot at Yale or getting handed a token job at Daddy's company somehow more "classy" than getting a more even-steven tax rate?
39jhadda...um, well, i guess.. oh never mind i have nothing nice to say.
40well jhadda, I'm not dirt poor, but nor will I see a tax increase under Obama's plan.
newsflash we already have a graduated tax system.
41No kidding jude I'm glad I grew up dirt poor and now living a very very comfortable life, btw if someone based there vote on a celeb they don't deserve the right to vote
42I Baracked the Vote!!!!!
43"There is a reason for social class."
There are MANY reasons for social class. Among them are birth and luck.
44
jhadda, thanks for the laughs
Their not there
46
indie, I've been supporting for Obama for a few months now lol.
I voted for Obama this morning, for the exact reasons Jhadda 2 stated, Im dirt poor, on welfare and feel entitled to things that other people work really hard for, it's the American way right? I can't wait for the free money to start rolling in.
48
jhadda: You made the right choice for YOU. No need to put down everyone who voted for THEIR right choice.
Also, most people, especially the middle class, love to work hard and earn everything they have. There's a very small minority of people who actually WANT everything handed to them. It's not
as satisfying, and most people understand that.
Obama all the way! I was expecting a long line at the polls, but it only took 10 minutes.
