My husband proposed to me with a jack-o-lantern too. He carved hearts as eyes etc. and the ring box had a light in it... so it was perfect :]

The first time I heard of this I thought it was adorable. Then I went to a pumpkin festival in Keene, NH and saw about 10 more proposals at once. It seemed less innovative when the giant jack-o-lantern scaffolds had at least 2 proposals each and people had to customize the "will you marry me" phrase so that they could tell them apart...

I wanted a Halloween wedding and my fiance squashed that idea. So instead we're having a halloween themed stag and doe.. but since we can count the number of friends we have on one hand combined it'll probably just be a halloween party before our wedding Smiling .... which'll be in August about 5yrs from now haha!

We have to wait till I am done school to get married.
