Since texting is so common these days, it's definitely had an effect on dating. For some of my friends, flirting with their significant others via text during the day helps keep the romance alive at night! And sure, a couple of flirty texts here and there is one thing, but a steamy text session is another! I’ve actually had more than one person confess to me that they love getting frisky via text. Frankly, it seems a bit tricky to me — I guess you have to have a really good imagination! Have you engaged in naughty texts? Or is a text the last thing you think of as sexy?

1Nooo! Texts are not private! They can also to kept, accidentally read by nosy family/friends, or purposely flaunted around. Sexy messages sent electronically are just asking to have your dirty comments exposed to the world.

Mesayme needs to learn to say "nothing is sacred to the men I've met". Those generalities about men, of whom I know many fine, kind, sweet, respectful, loyal and sensitive specimen, really irk me. I know you're had it rough with your loser cheating husband, but you need to step out of the negative uber-feminist stance and realize that there are so really awesome guys out there. It would be a good beginning towards finding love again, may I add - open your heart, woman, don't sit still on top of your past disappointments. It shows through everything you say here and it makes me as sad as it makes me cringe.
My brother, my best friend, my boyfriend - amazing men. A few of my exes. My Dad. That new friend I made last year - they're trustworthy. They respect you and would never share your sexy texts, pictures and whatnot, even if their life depended on it.

12flirty, yes, but the other day my boyfriend's roomate read us a text his girlfriend sent him during the day and it was just pornographic...and yes, he did read it to us! and i've never even met the girl. i don't think my boyfriend would do that but i don't want to risk it. if i were this girl, i'd be so embarassed that he shared such a message!!
13Yes, I have done it many times. I don't even care if someone were to read them. I'm pretty open with that kind of stuff. I don't think my BF would read them out loud but I can imagine the huge grin on his face if he did. I wouldn't be embarassed if he did share them with his friends. He's a good guy and he deserves to brag a little.

16Yes! Except once I drunk texted my best guy friend "You're hot and sexy!" Except I was drunk so it came out as "You're got and sexy!" And he's never let me live it down
17Definitely fun, keeping in mind that texts CAN be pulled out like file folders by the phone company, NSA, or court order...or your phone (or the recipient's) could be lost/stolen/snooped through. I actually sent a few spicey texts to my husband (at 5 this morning, haha) but then, I don't really care who knows that I'm attracted to my husband!!!

21my boyfriend and i do that all day while were at work and by the time we get home we are ready to jump on eachother... you have to really trust the person you are with and know that these messages wont be used against you in any way and will not be shown to anyone else.

I think it's a great idea with someone you really trust not to show them around, etc. It helps when you can't be together for a while or just to do something different, like teasing each other, ha.
My bf is less experienced with sexual things in general than me right now though, so he's not quite up for that yet. He's worried about other people seeing them mostly I think, and I don't blame him.

26I think it's actually pretty healty, given the times we're in. Texting with your lover can be great and almost always leads to some excitement later on in the night! I know my inbox is full. And having said that, I'm not quite sure that came out the way I expected it to.

29well i think that they can be ok at the right time. for me, my fiance was away for a week and neither of us are really phone people so it served it's purpose by texting
30My boyfriend and I live in different cities an hour and a half apart, therefore not lets us see eachother as often as we would like. Everyone morning we text just to say good morning and wish eachother a good day at work. It's cute, and simple, and make us smile. But also we send saucy lil text messages that deffinately keep us fired up till the next time we see eachother.
