ahhh...my guilty pleasure. I have to or I'll hit someone sometimes or suffer combustion! I usually write it. But I curse at the kids sometimes...just the one. The middle child, the boy, the
stubborn one...it's awful, I feel bad, but he knows that mommy saying 'ass' probably saved his. uh huh...
I still feel awful and end up apologizing.
it's so ironic that you posted this today because the other night i had a big fight with my man and i was on the phone with my mom and i was swearing at him and she's like 'um..could you not
use so many curse words - it hurts my ears' ...you're 100% right - sometimes you NEED to use those words to get your point across. my solution - swear in other languages!
I was just talking to my boyfriend about this because I don't curse, and he was making fun of me because I use words like "holey moley," "holy crap," "crap," and "darn it!" Eh, I just don't
feel the need to curse, but I don't judge anyone for it. My boyfriend, my sister, and most of my friends curse.
I watch my language, since I teach high school and I am trying to set a good example for my students. Besides, it is SO EFFECTIVE when I do curse in front of my students. They know that I am
angry then . . .
lately i've been swearing much more than usual, i think it might be because i'm taking a course that i love and my professor swears so often it's ridiculous.
I used to NEVER swear, especially in high school. I was such a goody two shoes and I still am in some sense, but I've loosened up a bit. Now I swear more often. It's just more satisfying to
say "WHAT THE HELL?" or "F*CK" than What the heck? and crap. My favorite part of Inside the Actor's Studio is when James Lipton asks the celebrity what his/her favorite curse word is. Natalie
Portman was the best...I think she said a word in Hebrew and explain that it meant "your mother's vajayjay." (I censored the word in case I got flagged). It was awesome.
we were never ever aloud to swear as a child , we could say things like "gosh darn it" and "dag nab it" but never anything close to the real thing like "freaking" or "flippin"
