You and a close friend have made a trip back to your college town to visit a mutual friend for the weekend. Since the friend you're visiting is married with kids, you both opted to stay in a hotel instead of at her house, figuring if you shared a room, it wouldn’t be too expensive. 
One night you all head out for drinks and end up running into an old male friend who used to go to college with all of you. You decide to call it a night on the early side, but your other friend is ready to party. You part ways with her, and she says she’ll see you in a few hours. Back at the hotel you fall asleep, only to wake up to some strange noises coming from your friend’s bed. It takes you a moment, but it suddenly clicks that she’s in the middle of having sex two feet away from you! How would you handle this?

I would most likely just try to go back to sleep and ignore her and then make fun of her relentlessly for the rest of our lives. Also, if my phone was near me in the bed I might send her a text calling her a nasty Porn Star and give her sh*t for getting it on in the same room as me.
If I was good enough friends with her to feel comfortable travelling with her and sharing a hotel room then I wouldnt freak out.. i would just never EVER let her live it down.

2I agree with Fallen, if she was my best friend im not going to hate her and condemn her for it and although I would be uncomfortable as he*l, the situation would only get more uncomfortable if I interrupt them to say something.. BUT it also depends on what kind of sex is going on here lol..I think there are differences--like if its quiet or loud sex..nm i dont know where i am going with that...lol

13I don't think any of my friends would do this, but if they did, I'd be beyond pissed. So incredibly disrespectul and trashy. I'd never be able to look at them the same again and I'd definitely never share a hotel room with them again.

19OMG this happened to me while I was at school! I was sick so I slept almost the entire day and I woke up at about 9PM to the bed next to me creaking and moaning.I said what the hell before I realized what was going on. At least they were covered, but seriously I did not want to hear any of it. After that she sexiled me from the room.

25ooh this has happened to me, and it's not a comfortable situation to be in. honestly you can't really do anything at that point, so i chose not to confront my friend about it, and just remember for the future that things like this happen with the friend and opt not to share a room with her if there's a chance that hook-ups could happen.

I think it's the fact that you're asleep that is so rude. I don't know, it's like they think you're too naive to realise or wake up?
and the other thing, how well do they know the guy? they're letting some random stranger you've never met into your room - that's potentially dangerous and they're therefore putting you in danger as well as themselves.

32I didn't realize how many people could just ignore it!! I think that's disrespectful to have sex when someone is .5 feet away from you, even if you think they're asleep! I was lucky enough to have roommates who agreed that we wouldn't have sex with them in the room and we didn't do it. But my one roommate I had had sex in the living room all the time, and of course I walked by them because it was by the front door, and they didn't even flinch. I was uncomfortable and disgusted. Have all the sex you want, but not in this situation!

43I have to admit I would not be happy with it, I probably would get up cut on all the lights in the room and tel them either he or both of them better be gone when I come out of the bathroom. Definately not anything I could laugh off or do to someone else.
44I'd handle it the same way I handle having to hear my parents nomping.
Turn on the light, go to the bathroom, make a big show of being awake and about then retire to bed with my mp3 player.
Either that or I'd screech bloody murder at them.
