Hair on a guy's chest — now that can be sexy, but when it comes to women, hair on your breasts is not something you want to find. Or worse, it's not something you want someone else to point out. I'm sure you think that hair on a woman's nipples just shouldn't be happening, but it's more common than you might think.

According to Cosmo, a few stray strands is extremely normal. It's typical for a woman to find as many as 15 or so dark, straight strands at one time. Generally, if you have darker hair on your head, you'll have more hair on your nipples.
But just because it's common doesn't mean you're OK with it. To find out what to do about your nipple hair, read more.
If you have an abundance of strands on your girls, waxing is a good solution. Don't be embarrassed, because like I said, I'm sure your technician has seen tons of ladies with hair there. If you only have a few lonely strands, then plucking them is a good option. Clean the area with alcohol first, use clean tweezers to pluck each hair, and then wipe the area with alcohol once more to prevent infection.

Very especially when pregnant or during hormonal changes. And you should pluck them.
1Luckily I dont have that problem. I mean, I am a brunette and so I see tiny little dark hairs but they are not visible for anyone to point out.
But if they were, I would pluck. lol.
2I do get some peach fuzz on my upper lip so I do wax that off.
I have one. Just one, on each boob. So I live with them!
3I get one or two terminal hairs from time to time. I pluck. That seems to help a lot.
4is that really true about the darker-haired people having more hairs on their nipples? 'cause I have pretty dark hair - and NO nipple hair.
but don't we all have hair pretty much *everywhere*? I mean, wherever you see pores, it's usually hair follicles...if I *had* nipple hair though, I'd pluck it. Seems the safest and easiest way to remove it.
5I don't have hair there.
6I'm naturally blonde and I have some dark nipple hair, maybe 4-6 on each side. They bother me a bit because they stand out against my pale skin and otherwise very light body hair, so I pluck them.
7I guess I'm glad I'm a blonde...if that even makes a difference...but I don't have any nipple hair either thankfully
8no hair there
9Ehm...shucks, I do have some over there (and I'm dark-haired), but it's no biggie, I use this electric epilator thing to remove them and it's done in a jiffy.
10sorry no hair there but i didn't know you can get them there!
11I'm a brunette and no hair there...thankfully!
12It's probably not the best thing to do (says so right on the label but I ignore) but I use Nair for the nippy hairs or just pluck them. Not that many but it's fast.
13stupid birth control brought them on, but luckily not many. yay for hormones being pumped into your body and making my nipples little ewoks? no thanks. yay for no unplanned babies though.
14I was gonna say, they didn't appear until I was almost 30 having the 3rd child so I think it's very hormonal. Don't forget the lovely moles, you'll most likely get those too. Yay!
15i'm with rubberdog, i noticed hair after i switched birth control. i've switched back to the first brand, but it seems i'm stuck with these hairs.
16The problem with plucking them is that you get ingrown hairs. Nipples are not a place where you want such a thing.
17I am glad to hear other women have them. I never did when I was younger but since I had my son I get them now. I swear some of the, if I would let them grow, would be contenders for guiness book of world record for the longest boob hair. Shish!
18I've got a couple. But I leave them alone, I've never had any complaints so I focus my hair removing attentions on areas that need it!
19I have thin light body fuzz all over my body... nothing think and corse except on areas where hair is expected...I may run a razor over areas but its not a big deal to me....
20really i always think that i was a freak or something, its really good to know that im not the only one hahaha.
21I get about one to two hairs around my nips from time to time. Thank Goodness, I thought I was the only one!
22I think waxing or plucking there will hurt, I use a really mild hair bleach
23i always thought i was a freak...or slowly turning into a man. then a friend said something about it. i tweeze them, i get ingrowns so that sucks. my best friend waxed them for me once, i think thats probly the best way to go about it. less ingrowns, less stubblies.
