Getting sexy for Halloween is fun, but getting a date and going with a theme can be really fun too. Since the plug and socket is overdone, I've come up with a few new and creative costume ideas for couples, so check them out below!
- Naughty '50s Housewife and a Post Man — Go ahead and make fun of a silly stereotype!
- Ball and Chain — A couple's classic, but not as popular as the plug and socket.
- Hillbilly Honeymooners — All you need are a couple of beer helmets and some flip-flops.
- Mario and the Princess — Everyone always does Mario and Luigi, but I never see the Princess.
- Any of the couples from The Office — This is for those of you who really like to get into character!
- Juno and Paulie, from Juno — Perfect for quirky couples! Plus, don't you want to see your man in some short shorts?
- Plumber and a Faulty Pipe — It might not be the sexiest costume, but it's kinky.
- Heidi and Spencer, of The Hills — This is fun because you can have an excuse to get in every picture!
- Freudian Slip — He's Freud; you wear a slip. Easy and creative.
- Go as each other — My absolute favorite if you're going out with mutual friends.

Mike and I dressed up as Jim and Pam last year - he wore a white shirt and carried a messenger bag, and I wore a cardigan and skirt and curled my hair. I work as a receptionist, so people who knew the show got a real kick out of it, although I did have one coworker who didn't understand why I dressed up as a receptionist when I was a receptionist.

2My husband and I dressed up as Mario and Princess Peach for Halloween 2006. It was so much fun. We made the costumes ourselves and got a lot of compliments.

We are going as Spike and Faye from the anime show Cowboy Bebop (see avatar!) He's such a good guy he's even going to grow his hair out for it to make it all shaggy

7I'm going as Peter Pan and my boyfriend is going to be Hook! I'm excited!!!
8I don't do Halloween, so that makes me the lady with no candy not answering the door.
9Mario and the Princess is AWESOME!!Heidi and Spencer would be funny too, I'd love to stuff huge fake boobs and draw huge fake lips! My boyfriend would never agree to be douchey Spencer, though. We're going as Ike and Tina Turner!!!!

11My boyfriends brother and his wife went to a costume party as Juno and Paulie bleaker. I thought that was the cutest!
12last year i made a penis costume with my aunt, and my friend and i wore it together. it was great.
13My husband and I went as bald Britney and KFed last year. We made up for the night ; P... and might I add that my bald cap was perfection.

My boyfriend and I are going as the Beer Fairy and Death. It's not a match like Peach and Mario, but it matches when you think about it.

18My bf and I are going as the slutty secretary and the sleazy boss: I wear a Britney Spears-esque secretary outfit (see "Womanizer" video) with high heels, glasses, and hair up but all disheveled, lipstick smeared on my face, blouse halfway undone while the bf wears slacks and a half untucked button up shirt, lipstick on his collar, hair all messed up and of course, a wedding ring.
19My sister and her fiance went as Luigi and Princess Daisy! I made the Princess Daisy costume for her, it turned out so cute (if I do say so myself). We are always teasing the Brother-in-Law-to-be about his ridic moustache - he decided to plan his whole costume around it this year.
20PS - my other sister and her boyfriend are doing the Juno/Bleeker costume this year. The orange-striped shirt and camo-ish hoodie for Juno were surprisingly easy to find.
21My husband and I were going to be Jack and Kate from Lost...but I'm pregnant and too tired to even put any effort into it
. So now, we're just going to watch a scary movie (aka: he'll watch a scary movie and I'll
fall asleep on the couch.)
One year, we went as the perv teacher and naughty student. We've also done devil and angel and vampires. Another year, we were going to do Jesus and Mary Magdalene, but thought it might be too offensive.

But sadly, I'm going to be away visiting a friend in another city so it'll have to wait till next year.
24I was going to be a witch, and my boyfriend was going to be a broom, and he was going to give me piggy back rides all night, lol! But, sadly after 3 years of being together him and I broke up. So, I'll probably just be a witch with out a broom.
