I don't know why, but watching kittehs play with TP never gets old. These two rascals demolish a whole roll in under a minute. I'm officially impressed.

Lol I love the music!
1This reminds me of my cat, Sunny, who passed away 3 years ago at the age of 14 years. She was my best friend - a throw-away who adopted me (lol) & never let me down re: loyalty, love & companionship.
She was one-of-a-kind & more human than most humans are. She loved watching squirrels go around gathering nuts, left mice alone if they had babies... it's true! She loved catching tree frogs & "herding" them till they went were she wanted them to go, & tapping then so they'd jump on her, then run through the house... She understood the words, "up", "down", "kitchen", "dinner" & so on. She was also the only cat I ever saw who could only sleep on her back, steal pizza slices, spaghetti & corn on the cob - hissing, bared teeth if ANYONE tried to take those items away.
I truly regret the fact that I never had a camcorder because certain things just have to be filmed!
Forgive me for going off like this, but watching these kittens' excitement reminded me so much of her that I just had to get some of in print. Sunny would sit there, unroll the ENTIRE spool then fall asleep in it - Plus, she was a paper shredder! Newspapers, loose paper, magazine, etc. she'd shred with claws & teeth...
I really wish I had had a camcorder...
2Rossy, the only solution for you is a new kitten...or two!
3Sunny sounds like she was a wonderful handful, Rossy. Thanks for sharing your story about her.
4Gigglesugar did you mean to write kittehs? cause as i read it i heard it in Cartmans voice in my head lol.
Rossy - i want a cat now, your story made me feel like i've been missing out on kitty lovin
5Hey fiend, yes, I meant "kittehs," because sometimes "kittens" and "kitties" just doesn't sound baby-talky enough.
6lol, i've been having a stressful day and replaying this is bringing a smile to my face (especially this silly obsession i have with Cartman's voice saying "Kittehs" in my head, stress does make you crazy!).
7Thank you for your kind words - she was a wonderful handful & there are many more stories I could tell... but I had to keep it brief. I've been thinking of writing some kind of book to remember her by - I don't know if I should though. I have LOTS of pictures of her... but unfortunately, the ones of the tree frogs never came out right.
I wish I could get another cat but financial circumstances leave me with very few options - Went from a house to renting & cats aren't allowed. Also, I don't think I'm ready yet because of all the cats I've had in the past (5 of them - all loved), Sunny was unique. I do kind of babysit friend's cats by house-sitting while they're away. It allows my friends to bypass "boarding" them at kennels or some vets offer that service for a fee. I do it for free - & cuddle a warm, purring kittie (lol).
I admit, I wish for one of my own but am afraid that I would always expect her to be a carbon copy of Sunny & not love for herself. So, for the time being, it may be a good thing that my landlord doesn't allow pets. Maybe someday I'll be able to get a place where I can have a cat, & will be in a better place to give her the love she deserves as herself.
Does that make sense?
