I agree. My hair is completely natural, and that's how I like it. The only thing I do is have it cut in flattering shape that works with my hair texture. The style I always pick have to be
"wash and go." That's what I tell my hairdresser, too. The style must be "wash and go."
Ha ha - I am the most low maintenance hair person. I really just rely on my natural hair color (red) and organic shampoo/ conditioner and let it air dry. I hate getting hair cuts so it's
every six months for me. It's been the same style for 10 years (long with face framing layers). I'm so boring...
I am proud to be the only one in my family or circle of friends to have natural hair color. Even still, I receive compliments on the color because I'm in the sun alot and it has a lot of warm
and light brown tones laced in. Sometimes I'm tempted to shake things up, but I think that often (but not always) that our natural color is our best color. I'm happy...
Oh yeah, made that decision three years ago...no chemicals, just conditioners. That's it. I love it!!! I free like a runaway slave in Canada! My hair's thick, curly and reddish-brown with
strands of black and blonde and a few gray now. Why on earth would I mess with that?
Think Cree Summer. That's me.
I've never treated my hair in any way, have never colored it or done anything but cutting off split ends. I too am for wash and go. It looks best that way.
My hair is returning itself to its natural colour... I loathe my hairs natural mousy brown .. But I also don't like paying to colour it anymore... So I am letting it do what it wants to do
I never style it, I just throw it back into a pony tail or let t fly free
haha, i don't mind it anymore now that my hair has been chemically straightened! my genuine natural hair is a horrible mess of boof and frizz and nasty half curls rather than being either straight or having luscious curls.
RustyAngel, I've got the same problems! I can hardly ever stand to have my hair natural because it's not curly and not nice-wavy...it honestly looks like a bad perm. I wash and blow out my
hair every 2 or 3 days, and I think it's completely worth it because I feel more beautiful and it's easier to style! I always wanted to have "wash 'n go" hair, but that just wasn't my deal!
I had bleach blonde hair for years, then my hair because a clumped mess and cut it all off and let it grow out. So now my hair is back to it's dark brown it has been (and i was shocked, I
always thought my hair was dirty blonde) So....Anyway. Mine is natural now, and I am happier.
well as much as i appreciate this comment, i think that you also don't need permission to change things either. i like having the natural hair thing, but i feel better about myself with some
type of treatment to it, and i don't feel like i have to apologize for that one either.
