I hate doing chores — what a way to ruin a good weekend or evening! I always get them done, but I do find myself moping through them most of the time. I can certainly see why it’s so appealing to share the burden with someone else or at least have company while you’re stuck doing it. Having a partner to help handle life’s daily chores and weekly errands is definitely a perk of being in a relationship. And when you live together, it especially comes in handy. What chores do you do as a team? Or do you each do your own thing?

We generally do all of the chores together. But when he's at work I will clean up a little. Making a team effort gets things done quicker.
1Oh and I shall add that you bond a little doing it =]
2Well, when I was in a relationship we had very distinctly different chores. And I very much liked it that way.
3Both...my bf is a neat break so am I. We both need to have our ways with certain things and I swear there are times I am cooking a nice meal for him and he comes into the kitchen and starts cleaning after me...and I have to tell him "No, I'll get to it..now go out while I make you a nice meal!"

5We tag team washing the animals. He washes the cat and sometimes the dog (sometimes I get the dog). I catch and dry and clip and file the nails.
6Me and the husband are neat freaks too, though I generally do most of the cleaning since I work less. We do yardwork together though. He mows and trims, I weed and rake and mulch!
7We do many chores together. Hubby will unload the dishwasher and I'll reload it with the days dirty dishes. Hubby helps fold laundry if I didn't get it all done during the day. He helps children with homework, I do their baths. We do big chores together as well for example this weekend we cleaned out the garage and reorganized it. About the only chores hubby doesn't help with are the ones I do during the day while he's at work.
8We do most chores as a team. I wash clothes and clean the bathrooms. He deals w/ the finances. Toilets vs. stocks, it all works out.
9Usually I will head over to the main house to do the kitchen and floors, and he will clean up our flat. We dont have much space (literally, no room for my clothes let alone two of us!) in our flat, so its easiest if we keep out of each others way and have passing kisses.
10Laundry and washing up ...
11the picture is ironic because we washed our cars together this weekend
12i windexed while he vaccuumed and he soaped up while i wiped down the dash etc.
and we also do dishes together and when i'm cooking he's right beside me helping with little things
We both have different work schedules so at times we split things up, but if we are both home and need to get the chores done we'll definitely double team them! He'll vacuum while I dust, or vice versa. I usually leave the toilet and shower cleaning to him though, while I clean the vanity etc. It really comes down to who is available when one (or many) particular task(s) need to be done.
13well..just like this picture..we wash our cars together lol..i just realized that is very much a team effort
14I like to clean by myself..he'll take out the trash but I like to do most of that by myself..otherwise we take turns..he'll cook and i'll do the dishes or vice versa
My husband and I grocery shop and clean together.
15As a couple we like to straighten out the yard, wash cloth's (sorting)and help our children out with there homework! Most of the time were doing it alone b/c of our job's! He work's night's and I work day's so when your doing 12 hrs. a day it gets kinda hard to work as a team!
16We'll do the washing up together sometimes and clean the house. Most of the time I'll do the housework on my own on my days off (I'm only on campus 3 out of 5 days right now) and he'll cook.
