This technically falls under the sad 'n' cute category. Environmental disasters decimate animal populations, and oil spills are particularly horrible. These folks from IFAW (The International Fund for Animal Welfare), who rehabilitated penguin victims of an oil spill, got to release them back into the ocean. Warning though: this video, filmed in Brazil, moves from cute to sad, but ultimately back to cute again.

what was sad about that? i thought it was just cute!
1It's cute because they are cute... But there has to be sadness on the parts of their human "friends" who spent months getting them clean of the thick oil from the penguins (& other animals affected) - helpless to save those who were too far gone to survive.
Then they had to take them to the beach & release them to uncertain futures. Will they find their way home after so long away from the sea? How many will make it (given the fact that there are dangers in the oceans & they are dinner for sharks, whales, & I believe illegal fishing fleets who don't care what they catch so long as they obtain there major goal of getting their quota of tuna, sharks, whales, etc.
So yes, from that perspective, it does go from "cute, to sad, to cute again."
2penguins are one of my favorite animals. Remember the penguin that got knighted in Norway? He waddles down the path and stops to stare at the guards standing at attention, and someone has to respectfully push him down the path again...
3You said it better than I could, Rossy! Thanks.
