You learn something new with every life experience, including relationships. That said, I certainly don’t think you need dozens of relationships to know a thing or two about how they work. Some people are daters, and some prefer monogamy, and of course there’s everyone in between too. So just for curiosity’s sake, tell me, how many actual relationships have you been in?

I'm still young and I've only had one serious relationship (3 years and counting).. Other than that, I had a few relationships in high school (and both of them didn't make it past 5 months). I don't really count those though?
1Four counting my current - that is, four that actually became "boyfriends". Dating total? Oh geez, I don't know.... somewhere over 10 but probably less than 20 (I'm 29). This new one is "it" for me...
2I've had several, but none that lasted more than a few months - until my husband, whom I've been with for 2 years. He thinks that's really strange, but I never saw the point in wasting time with the wrong person!

71 high school relationship where we basically only talked online/on the phone (lol), and a 1 month relationship when I first went to college.

9I didnt count my highschool boyfriends as they never lasted more then a week or so but real boyfriends has only been two including my current. One was a complete douche and my current is perfect.

14I've had one, but I don't really count it for much, so it's more like zero. It was only a month, and it felt more like one of those stupid middle school relationships than an actual one, so that's why I really don't count it. Still waiting for that first real relationship.

17I have had three serious relationships (including the one I am, which is "ending" with marriage in December, excitingly enough!). I dated a guy seriously in high school, and I had a serious boyfriend for a while in my undergraduate years, but I didn't meet someone serious again until I met my fiance.

43It depends on what you consider a "relationship". I personally dont think like little highschool bf's mean much.(Unless one of them was your first love and all that) I dont think just here and there bf's count either. A relationship (to me) means you shared something very special, and admired that person for whatever reason. So idk how it works for everyone else.
