Gross! There's no telling where that finger has been!!
1Oh no Piper you went there! hahahah.
And gross.
2
3ahhh piper you beat me to a snarky/crude remark darn it!
4I know! I was wondering what happened to you, CG - this one just fell into my lap!
5I can't decide between shouting "Smell my finger" and "Pull my finger"
6I like this picture, I feel like he's telling me to save the Dem. party.
I love my
Mr. Bill Clinton, from the jump through the bumps and to the finish!
7Bill and Hillary who? Seriously this is one of the first times other than right after Obama getting the nomination that I have see either Clinton actually campaign for him. If Obama loses they will be partially blamed, and if he wins it's the end of their Era no one is going to want to go "back" in politics.
8Bill Clinton came to my alma mater a couple of weeks back and actually gave a great speech.
9"mcdonalds is that a way"
"she dealt it"
10All kidding aside- Clinton is an amazing speaker. Hillary Clinton has been vocal about supporting Obama/Biden - but the media is more interested in Palin and her shenanigans.
11Basty Hillary has been stumping for Obama non-stop since he became the nominee. She has campaigned more for him than the runner-up nominees for the last 40 years combined. Just because the media isn't covering it doesn't mean it's not happening. They're busy focusing on teenage pregnancies and what shoes Sarah wore today.
12I just saw a political cartoon suggesting Bill Clinton seduce Sarah Palin to cause her even more scandal.
That article about troop funding was good. I was so mad when Cindy McCain said she got a chill down her spine when Obama voted not to fun her son. Just wondering if she got a chill when her own husband voted against troop funding.
13Well that's a shame that the media isn't covering it, because that's going to hurt the Clinton's in the future. But there time is up anyway!
14[I just saw a political cartoon suggesting Bill Clinton seduce Sarah Palin to cause her even more scandal.]
Ewwwwwwww old people doing it -- ewwwwww!!
15Ugh Shame on you Cindy and Sarah for trying to use your children to manipulate voters. And for distorting the truth while you did it.
And you can't condemn those remarks "out of context", Johnny? So much for running a respectful campaign. Didn't you say we needed to return to a "respectful campaign" like three days ago?
16Yeah Kastarte, I agree. It's also old hat. The Clintons did it in 92, 96, and again with Hillary's failed primary campaign.
17sigh...
18bastly- I just watched one of the most rousing speeches yet for Obama given yesterday by Hillary Clinton on MSNBC at a rally in Scranton. Bill also spoke, as did the Bidens. The only thing that will hurt Clinton's career at this point is ill-informed people going around making general statements like, "well I certainly haven't seen her campaigning..."
grrr.
19Having your 30ish daughter campaign for you is hardly the same as using your child's military service to manipulate voters.
20Thanks kas...I didn't have the strength to respond.
21"Shame on you Cindy and Sarah for trying to use your children to manipulate voters. And for distorting the truth while you did it."
So true!
I think Hillary has been doing a great job getting out there.
It might not get national coverage, but the most important thing to get is LOCAL coverage. When the state/local newspapers and tv stations cover these events, it gets read by a LOT of people in specific areas.
Since their nominations, the Obama/Biden/Hillary/Bill/Michelle team has made 95 appearances in swing states. The McCain/Palin team has made only 55...because they can't split up because McCain by himself doesn't get the crowds that Palin does.
It will be interesting to see how this affects things on Nov. 4th.
22Good point, kas.
23My hubby and I debated just this morning who was the better speaker, Hilary or Bill. I actually laughed when he said Hilary because I feel Bill is one of the best speakers we have seen.
But after listening to my hubby I did see some valid points. Hilary does she grace under pressure and thinks on her feet. While lately Bill has gotten out of his former speaking self and doesn't think before he speaks. Unfortunately for Hilary though her persona was no match for Obama's.
24The McCain campaign has just about used up all its free "strong on the military because he was a POW" passes.

First off if you would have read my second statement "Well that's a shame that the media isn't covering it, because that's going to hurt the Clinton's in the future. But there time is up anyway!"
26I also watch CNN and MSNBC, my local newspaper/new and I haven't seen anything so I can only base my judgements on what I have seen. Secondly I think the Clinton's time is up regardless of the campaigning or not ( read my first statement again). No need to get that angry geez its my opinion you don't have to like you don't even have to respect it but you don't' have to get and attitude "grrr" real mature!
